Not a fan of the clasp that came with this collar. I've have it before (twice) and the stock photo here implies it's different, which is why I ordered it. It is not the same clasp. Instead of the 3 prong insert, it is a solid disk with a bump that inserts in a hollow circle. I found it the previous incredibly difficult to take off, which means it will not breakaway easily. I give them a break from wearing them when we have a cold steak and they don't go out. The thing breaks after taking it off a few times. Which is why I'm replacing it for a 3rd time. So I wasn't too happy to get this clasp instead of the 3 prong, which is pictured and my other cat has the 3 prong and it holds up much better and breaks away with the right amount pressure. Guess I'll worry about a whole new brand when I go to replace this one next year.**Pictures show my previous collar, which is the exact same collar with the tough clasp I just got, and my other cat's with the 3 prong clasp, which I thought I was getting here according to their photo.

This is hardly a break-away collar. It's really, really hard to break it! This is kind of a pro and a con? I worry about my cat getting really stuck in this collar but at the same time it's nice not to have to constantly replace it.My solution for this is just keeping it on kind of big so he could slip out if necessary. Collar probably isn't for everyone.

Very durable. Hardly shows any signs of wear and tear. Been over a year and still lookin strong. Was a bit of a struggle to open/take off once worn for some time. Had trouble unclapsing. But other than that great product.

These are great little cat collars. My kitty can't get them off (or perhaps he doesn't try to hard, not sure) at any rate he has had the same one on for over a month. It fits nice and snug but not to tight. I do the two finger test everyday to make sure it doesn't loosen or tighten on its own. It doesn't. These stay clean and the bright color against kitty's dark fur lets me see him in the dark. Like these a lot.

Works well as a breakaway collar. Easy to adjust. The bell doesn't always sound, but that may just be that my cat has found a way to walk silently.

The clip breaks too easily but other than it is great.
