Super handy to take measurements with. Only slight downside is the software/app you have to use if you wish to store the measurements seamlessly. You have to use the app Xiaomi Home, which I'm honestly not a fan of when it comes to using this laser measurer. The app isn't dedicated to the device, so you have to jump through a few hoops to get it going. Just wish that was done better.

Use of use and accuracy, must have if you have a home renovation, a handy tool for measuring any distance

After a few times used in 2 apartments, the battery was drained and cannot be recharged. I tried several usb c cables and loaders with different watts. It is not possible to recharge the device.

Neat job. But the accuracy is not very good. There is provision for calibration.

Ok, so yeah, you can easily find something similar to this, that can do mostly everything that it does, as well as a whole lot more, for something like thirty bucks. Well, I already knew that before I ordered this laser measuring tool. And I also already knew that I would have to use the app to switch between the front-based mode for free measurement, and the tail-based mode for edge measurement, because one of the pictures said that was the case. Now, I think they should have made this so that you didn't have to use the app to switch between those two measuring modes, but they didn't. And since I already knew that before I ordered this, if I was upset about it then that would be my own fault, lol. But despite that, I still ordered it. And I can't say exactly why either. I think I'm starting to develop a compulsion to obtain as many of HOTO's products as I can. I don't know, they are just very attractive to me for some reason. I think HOTO might even be a part of that very popular Beijing company, Xiaomi, because that's the developer of the Mi Home app that is sometimes used with HOTO products. And speaking of the app, it's actually not half bad. But don't just take my word for it. Because at the time of this review, the Mi Home app on the Google Play Store had 50 million downloads and had an average rating of 4.2 stars from ONE MILLION reviews! Anyway, I wouldn't recommend gifting this to someone, or using it yourself, if it's going to be used as an everyday measuring tool on constructions sites or anything like that. No, this is more meant for use around the house every now and then. Well, that's my opinion at least.

Excelente o produto, leve e cumpre o prometido. A função de puxar para o app no celular facilita muito pelo fato de nao precisar ficar carregando folha para anotar. Somente para ambientes externos que nao funciona direito pelo fato de ser laser e com o sol forte ele nao pega longe. Mas recomendo sem dúvida a trena

Es un buen producto y sumamente cómodo. Si bien el precio es algo elevado para su función principal, las funciones adicionales que ofrece la aplicación móvil hacen que valga totalmente la pena. En cuanto a la precisión, es muy similar —si no idéntica— a la de otros productos que he comprado anteriormente, a pesar de que esos otros cuestan apenas un tercio de lo que vale este. Adjunto una imagen para que puedan ver cómo las mediciones son básicamente iguales. La configuración inicial del dispositivo es bastante tediosa, pero una vez que se logra, el producto se paga solo gracias a que guarda el historial completo de todas las mediciones realizadas.

Indispensable ! je ne peux plus m'en passer. Donne les mesures exactes en un rien de temps. La qualité HOTO est là ! Plus besoin de faire de la gymnastique pour mesurer une surface. Simple, efficace et se transporte dans une poche.

This is a very handy little laser measuring tool. It’s genuinely pocket-sized, quick to use, and gives consistent, accurate readings for room dimensions, internal measurements and general workshop or DIY jobs. Accuracy has been spot on for my needs when checked against a tape measure, and the digital readout makes single-person measuring far easier than wrestling with a traditional tape. USB-C charging and good battery life make it practical rather than gimmicky. It’s also beautifully designed — compact, minimalist and well finished — and feels like a thoughtfully made product rather than a cheap gadget. Although it’s clearly aimed at everyday indoor use rather than heavy industrial work, I’ve been using it in an industrial environment and it’s proven perfectly capable for quick, accurate measurements. It’s extremely convenient to keep in a pocket and grab when needed.
