Traveler's Notebook Leather Cover - Crazy Horse Forest Green

The dye job (purple) is nice and consistent. The embossing is even and clear. It's exactly what I hoped it would be. Granted, a Traveler's notebook cover isn't exactly the high end of leatherworking art. But it doesn't need to be.When you order something like this, you figure it's going to take a couple weeks to a month before it gets shipped out. This was blazingly fast. I think I had it within a single week.I'm interested to see how it wears with normal use. But I'll go out of my way to buy one from Galen Leather next time (which will probably be soon.)

They're simple but well-made traveler's notebooks. The leather is stiff but it still has some bend to it making it really nice to use. What makes it preferable, for me at least, over the original midori brand ones is that they come in a variety of color options and sizes. I've got a couple so far one in purple and one in pink and they are both vibrantly colored and the elastics hold up well.One last little note is that they do have a website where they sell other leather goods and they are both easy to order from.

This travelers notebook is awesome, the color was a little darker than the website shows but thats to be expected with computer colors.Its sturdy leather which I like. I dont care for the softe\r leather on travelers notebooks because they are floppy. This was packaged to nice. I ordered the large which fits leter size paper folded in half.It hangs over a little so I just use a paper trimer to cut off about .5 inches and it fits great or you can just buy standard wide notebooks, but I like to make my own. It came super fast. This is coming from Turkey and I received my item in 6 days.I added the bow and charm but Galen does offer some cute charms as well.

I received a purple pocket size with lilac elastic and it's beautiful. The color is deeper than the photo, more like plum or eggplant, and it has a pleasant leather smell. I like that you can pick the elastic color. The leather is supple and I've rolled it to add some soft creases. Shipping was fast, Turkey to Maryland in 13 days from the date I placed the order. I would definitely order again.
