This book misidentifies The University of Arizona as "Arizona University (AU)" in chapter 4.I can't Bear Down with this type of inaccuracy.

The only reason the purchase of the book was for work on my EdD, as it was required reading. Otherwise, I would have never picked the book up.

Excellent book if you are beginning to develop or design curriculum for learner-centered classes!

I learned that my idea of holding student's accountable for their learning is important! Children need to learn "how" to learn independently as a teacher is the facilitator of the classroom.

Valuable information provided in an easy to understand format.

this is a great book might also look at Learner-Centered Design by Reeves as related and supportive thoughts....

This book was very helpful in understanding the benefits of learner's accepting responsibility for their own learning.
