KooWheel board - updated READ
KooWheel is the greatest board I've ever owned. I weigh about 195 lbs. my name is Matt and I live in orlando. The board has gone around 21-24mph with me on it. Did a 3.5 mile ride at full speed and didn't lose a bar. Save your money and go with KooWheel. They are top of the line! That's was about a week or 2 ago, great customer service. But...2 broken boards later, going with something that'll last. They can't take the wear and tear so after the warranty you'll be screwed.

Overall great experience
I weigh 230 and 6ft tall. This board has no problem handling speed and distance. It climbs hills with no problem. I had a small issue with one of the rubber wheels I called Koowheel and they took care of me no problem(talk about customer service) It took me a month to do my research to figure out what board will give me the most for my dollar. This is by far the best deal!!! I use this board everyday it gives you a awesome adrenaline rush. I just wish I would have purchased this board sooner. Stop searching it's a waste of time, this is the board to buy! Before you know it they will be sold out!!!! Oh did I mention I ride this board with my son and it handles like a pro with both of us on it GOOD TIMES.

Only fun for a couple weeks.
Worked amazing for the first couple weeks. After that the board wouldn't work. The brakes will not work at all. And after a while I found out I couldn't even get a new one or get a refund.

Koowheels eboard
I bought a Koowheels eboard about 1 month ago and didn't actually ride it for a few days due to negative or questionable reviews by people who don't have one (never understood doing that) but then I found some good reviews so I decided to take the chance and I couldn't be happier. Everything was strongly built making it really sturdy its lived up to every expectation. Don't know how far it will go on one charge but I've ridden it all the way around my small island of Key West, FL which I believe is 12 miles (+ or -) it was an hour n a 1/2 and i still had 2 of the four power lights lit up, but i wasn't going all out the whole time or up any hills so that probably helped but I weigh 195lbs and the board is fast on the regular gear but there's a trick to unlock a turbo mode thats much faster and has much more torque even when moving fast already you feel it when you push the throttle. Its easy: to turn the board's turbo feature on, you ptess the power button 7 times and thats it, your power should be on. To check, listen to top speed sound with board on its back, it winds much louder. Thats my review, I think their quality control has improved cuz I got 2 boards n both perform equally so they must've read the bad reviews n fixed the complaints like the disconnection problem some were having w the remote. Mine has never disconnected, I couldn't be happier, just hope 3 months from now I'm saying the same thing! Well it's 3 months later and the board is still like new, can't be happier with speed n distance.

Great boards... just concerned about warranty
My son and his friend both ordered this board. His friend has had no issues. Both boards ran great for a few days. Our sons board now has loose housing on the electronics compartment, which leads to it working on and off. Not sure if this is covered by a warranty or if the company has any suggestions to fix?

When I first got it, it ran great. After swapping the bushings for softer ones that actually allowed me to turn, it worked for about 2 weeks. After that, it randomly started turning off and showing 25% battery after 1 minute of riding. I contacted Koowheel through various methods such as facebook and email, with no response. I'm now left with a really expensive & hard to push regular longboard.

Like I said
Edit: Stopped working after few ridesLongboards issues in general. It's probably not this skateboard alone, but riding on this is harsh. Your feet kinda go numb from the vibrations if the pavement is not buttery smooth.Another thing about a longboard is that turning radius is big. So you can't often take a 90deg turn on the narrow pavement.Like I said, those are issue with longboards in general I think. If I were buying again, I would probably take some hover board. They seem to be so more reasonable devices. Bigger comfortable wheels. Tight turns. No remote that you can loose.Remote response is not the best too. Sometimes it has delay. Also at times too sensitive.
