It's exactly as advertised

I use key safes all the time around the community centre and at home. This padlock style of keysafe is just the job ideal even where it is not possible to mount a standard unit on a wall for example. It does come with screws and plugs for a wall mount if required. I have clipped this to a steel set of railings. The key to the door is for carers to access. They can do so easy now. Great unit. My concern is the cost. Definitely higher than others on the market.

Nice and robust construction with a good sized clasp. You can have between 4 & 8 didget code but can only use a number once & the numbers can be re entered in any order to unlock it. This means the actual number of code combinations is greatly reduced. It is good value for the money but if you want really secure protection I would recommend spending on a higher quality item.

The lock broke within 24 hours and is now left on a gate with a key inside, very poor quality

Ok, I am the person who forever loses cardsm keys, etc. and I have a lock up that I have had to change the locks to twice nowm as I lost the keysand had to get my hubby to cut the actya lock to gain entrance. The locks I use only have 1 ste of keys each and once lost, you may as well chuck the lock...So, e thought if we eeo the keys in this little safe and attach it to the actual bolt in a seure way, then the key is never too far away from the lck and all I need is t remember a combination you get access to the safe! That's it, my lif has never been the same! A code I can remember, a key.. I lose all the time, albeit NOT ANe MORE! It is easy to usem it s reliabke, has not letus down one over the ast two months - could not rcommend highly enough, if I am honest! Great invention!

This item is well made and does what it says on the tin. The only issue is that the sequence of the numbers you enter doesn't matter. So if your code is 1234 then 2314, 3421 and any sequence containing these numbers will open the lock.
