El YucatecoAchiote Paste 3.5 OZ (Pack of 3)

I am unable to get this in my home town so I did a bit of research and decided to try. I will not use any other. Great quality and great flavor

So delicious on shrimp. P, chicken, pork, cauliflower, tofu

I work as a chef and take care of my elderly mother. That bring said it's hard to find the time to go to the speciality stores.I needed this asap to make pork tacos.Although I was worried about freshness due to other reviews this was perfectly soft and fresh. It was also cheaper than going to the nearest store.I allways buy in bulk so the 3 pack was perfect same 100g size I get at the store and 3 of them for the cost of 1.5 !

probably used 8 or 10 packages of this in the past year...mix in a blender with other spices eg minced garlic,oregano, cumin, chopped onion etc ...put in dutch oven over pork or chicken and bake......makes great soups ,sandwiches or tacos

When only authentic ingredients will do - this gets the job done.

Good color, great favor, fair price.

Added to my ground pork and it fried up nicely into patties. Gives it that flavor I'd been missing for too long. Usually have to go to a Mexican restaurant, but this paste delivers right home :)

You cannot make Chicken Al Pastor without this...It adds such a wonderful flavor to the marinade.

I grew up with this seasoning. We never cooked meat without it, but I hadn't been able to find it in Canada. But recently I found out that Amazon sells it, and now I love cooking meat again. I tastes SO MUCH better with Recado in it. Just order the one without food colouring, as food colouring isn't healthy and plays no role in how the meat tastes. Add a generous amount, and you will be surprised at how much better meat tastes. I will sometimes just rub it on chicken (or steak) after I wash it and pat it dry with paper towel (it won't rub on well if chicken/steak is wet), or make a paste with vinegar and Recado and add to hamburger.

Very happy with this product. The three pack is a good deal.
