Samsung SH-S222A/BEBE Internal Half Height Supermulti PATA 22X DVD-Writable Drive

I've been loyal to Pioneer burners for over 10 years. But after having good experiences with other products from Samsung I decided to try the SH-5222ANo issues at all installed in seconds and up and burning within a minute.Burned a disc using the sony blanks at 22x and viola....no problem.Best PATA burner I ever bought...in fact...I ordered another one for backup because PATA drives are phasing out.........

I received this drive and installed it. The directions for installation were not very informative, but having a little bit of computer knowledge, I was able to get it done. When trying to creat a dvd, I was having problems. I kept getting an error message. I contacted a customer service rep on Amazon's Chat and they sent me a new one right away. They also sent me return labels so I did not have to pay for shipping! The second one worked! The only couple of complaints that I have is that the drive takes a while to copy (almost an hour) AND it did not come with the mounting screws. But I think that it's a great value for the money.

Fast Delivery on this value priced basic Int. DVD Writable Drive, unit only (No hardware or software included) I've had good luck with the Samsung drives as they to hold up well, lasting longer than some replacement drives that I have used in the past. Recommended Seller, Thank You!

I ordered this when I replace my old CD Driver and seems reliable

I have a computer that is 5 years old and needed a replacement DVD/CD RW Parallel ATA drive. It doesn't come with software but is "plug and play" and compatible with my existing software.

Good replacement drive.

Put simply, it works well and the price was right. A great replacement for business computers who have a drive fail and the machine is no longer under warranty.

This DVD rewritable is durable I burned a lot of files, music and videos and it still working. Is a good choice....
