My Dad absolutely loves this shaver. It has a bit of nostalgia.

I had a walh professional version of this I don’t know the exact name but it was over 120 and man it broke down and it was too late for a replacement so I went for this as a quick fix and it didn’t disappoint, for lineups what I mostly do it’s definitely worth it, it does feel more cheaply made but it still performs for the price, it’s definitely on par with more pricey ones when it comes to precision and sharpening up small details, the reason I give it 4 stars it’s because it’s still cheap so don’t expect it to last long but definitely a nice little machine for light work

I've only used this thing two or three times so it's brand new. It tends to tug on some hairs as it cuts them, so it is not smooth and not comfortable. The plastic guards that you can put on the blade are also flawed. The teeth on them are so far apart that they fail to stand up your beard hairs like you would want. This leads to a lot of random hairs being missed and having a weird uneven cut full of long straggler whiskers. This is the worst trimmer I have owned out of three or four. The plastic guards also require an insane amount of force to remove. This is something that should easily pop off but I'm a grown man absolutely struggling with it. Ridiculous.

I am a fan of wahl trimmers and clippers. purchased this trimmer as a backup. I am a professional hairdresser and like the size for travel, hoped it would perform as other wahl trimmers I am used to working with. Read the specs and felt like it would do. When I unboxed the trimmer I found the electrical cord provided was very short for using behind the chair. Working with it thru out the day it did not give me the sharp line work I am accustomed to creating with other cordless t-trimmers I own. Relatively quiet, blades were not as sharp as I am used to. Pulled hair on some of my coarse bearded clients. Is say it’s best use is for individuals with fine hair. Ergonomically well designed.

Good quality but I would have preferred a bit heavier & more maneuverable. It cuts fine but until you are coordinated with just using a corner of these type clippers you will have trouble trimming around your ears with this. For that Wahl sells a even smaller trimmer with a nose hair trimmer that I guess I will need to buy. This trimmer is great for the nape of the neck though. It came with oil but no brush from dusting off clipped hair and no toiletry bag to hold this gear, but I guess to keep the price as low as it was, they had to sacrifice the inclusion of those items. So, all things taken into consideration it was worth buying and keeping for the price I paid.

I gave a previous review with 1-Star months and months ago - NOW I'm 5-Star satisfied - Lets just say with clippers or any type of devices that uses more skill then working right out of the box, this trimmer is no exception. I've been cutting my own hair for some 26 years but always did my trim with my WALH clippers, so after watching some videos on-line I broke down and bought this trimmer thinking NO PROBLEM should work right out of the box right? NO, they didn't work like I thought and after 12 cuts and trims I said they didn't work. NOW it's 9-months later and I've learned how to use them and MEN I have the trim that looks like the Barber from the shop. Two things I learned (1) the ANGLE of the blade means everything, the barber is standing over you so they have a unique advantage that you and I don't have, we have to superimpose what we see in the mirror, this is our disadvantage that we must over come (ANGLE is everything) - (2) PATIENCE is everything as well, I cut my hair every 12-14 days since I started, you have to just keep uses this trimmer until one day you'll get that angle right and that touch of the trimmer and it will all fall into place. Best to trim before you do your hair cut when the hairline is darker and easy to see, once you mastered that then you can trim after the cut now that you know where you like your hairline trim, try that - Hope this helps, just keep at it, remember your first few cuts on your own and the spots you missed that know one told you about? all looked good from the front, but the back sides and crown were not touched much LOL. I'm sold and good to go

Despues de 6 años sigue funcionando sin problemas. Lo unico malo es que los plasticos de los peines (niveles) son demasiado fragiles, desde los primeros meses se rompieron con el minimo golpe. No tiene tanta potencia que en algunas ocasiones jala el cabello.
