I just bought a new 2018 F150 STX crewcab 4x4 with the Max Tow Package. With the STX 20" wheels and tires and the increased ground clearance from 4x4, the truck sits a bit higher than my previous F150. I needed some running boards that will let me and my girl hop up into the truck easily but I didn't want a step bar that looked too bulky and take away from the truck's appearance. These iBoard running boards fit the bill perfectly. I bought the 4" matte black steps for my crewcab . The were delivered in 2 days with Prime. The were very well packaged. No damage to the box or contents. Everything was individually wrapped. Out of the box, the finish is perfect. All of the harware was there. The best part was that installation was a breeze. The truck has mounting bolts already installed from the factory. I simply mounted the brackets to these factory bolts and mounted the step rails to the brackets. The only tool I needed was a 3/8" ratchet with a 13mm and 10mm socket. It took me about 15min each side. The steps are lightweight, thin profile but very sturdy. No bend or flex with 2 adults standing on them. A great feature is the mounting slots that run the full length of the boards that allow you to get the exact placement you want. I was debating between the 4" or 5" and I feel made a good choice with the 4". I like that they are made from aluminum which should mean years of maintenance free service. I would recommend these to anyone looking for running boards that blend into the truck's profile, look great and function as they should

I took delivery of a 2020 F-150 a week ago. The truck did not come from the manufacturer with running boards, and even the salesman advised me to shop (as opposed to the dealer installing them) because he knew I'd find a better price. And after a few days of using the truck without them and having to pull myself and my short legs into the cab, this became a necessity.These iBoard boards are the 5-inch model. They have a very nice design and look really great on the vehicle. The price for these boards is also very reasonable.The best part was the ease of installation. The boards come with six mounting posts that fit perfectly on the F-150 underside mount points. iBoard provides plastic washers to attach between the mounting posts and the vehicle wall, a nice touch to prevent any corrosion. Once you get the three posts mounted snugly, installing the boards is just a matter of sliding bolts into the tracks on the bottom side of the board and lining them up with the mount points on the posts. Tighten everything down, and you're done. The entire installation, both sides, took about an hour.Since they've only been on for a day, the real test will be long-term for the sturdiness of the running boards. I don't have any doubts that these well-made additions will last a very long time.One other thumbs-up to iBoard for their product packing. Everything came in a single box and was about as well-protected as one could imagine. I don't think an explosion could have done any damage to the materials they used.Big thumbs up all around.

I like the design of it. It is a simple black running board that is easy to install. It took me an hour or so to install both sides. Solid light material and very good looking on my White F-150 Lightning. So far so good after 3 weeks of use.

Bought these running boards for a grey 2020 f150. They simply rock! Fit and finish on the boards was flawless, all required hardware was included, and installation was a breeze!They running boards came via USPS in a long well-constructed box. Packaging was heavy and ensured there were no dings or scrapes.The directions were clear and installation was simple - taking about and hour for solo install for a guy who is probably average in terms of mechanical aptitude ;) Would suggest making sure that you have SAE and metric ratchets - I ended up using a 10mm to attach the boards to the support brackets. The installation process itself was flawless -- the universal mount brackets fit the truck perfectly and mounting the boards to the brackets was a piece of cake.I want to commend the manufacturer for including a rubber/plastic insulating washers for use between the truck [aluminum] and mounting bracket [steel] to help prevent galvanic corrosion. Frankly I wouldnt have thought of that and when I saw the washers I was like -- dang these guys thought this through ;)Overall just really happy with the product. They installed easily, seem very sturdy and durable, and look really clean and simple on the truck. Would definitely recommend!

Bought these for a 2017 F150 Crew Cab I recently purchased. I like them OK. They are rigid and don't flex much when I step on them. Much easier on my lower back to get in and out. My kids can climb in and out with much less effort. They are wide enough (bought 4") to step on without a problem. Powder coat seems OK.These were very easy to install myself (I have above average mechanical inclination and average skill). Took me about an hour in my driveway. Required wire brush, 10mm socket, 13mm socket, 3/8" drive ratchet, patience to interpret sloppy English instructions (not bad), and elbow grease. A creeper would have been very helpful.What I don't like. Description says no plastic. The tops have plastic/rubber surface that snaps into the aluminum. The supports are steel and don't allow for much adjustment. They also had a little rust on them. They can be adjusted front to back easily, but the side to side adjustment is limited. I may have to shim the supports. The hardware is mild steel zinc electroplated for the boards and cadmium coated for the mounts to body. I expect these parts to rust quickly. Since the T-bolts are a custom part finding them in stainless will be very difficult. Stainless to aluminum has its own set of problems (the aluminum will wear at the contact point). These are low cost running boards. I don't expect great longevity.

Bought this for my 2019 Ford F150 XLT SuperCrew. Product arrived very well packaged - no chance of damage under normal shipping conditions. Easy instructions. Ford did it right on at least this model for having easy to access mounting studs. This package came with everything you need - which wasn't much. So installation was a breeze. Opening the box to putting the tools away took just a hair over 1 hour. I'm glad that I went with the 5" decks - seems just right to me - easy to step on but not too bulky looking. To me, these are nicer than the FORD dealership offerings for three times as much as I paid for this set. Highly recommend.
