These headphones have lasted longer than the padding that came with it and this product is the perfect solution :)

The headband cover is very nice. The earpads are the same as the original ones from a few years ago in terms of seams (which eventually come apart and is the reason I needed new ones) but the cushioning is much too firm.From photos and descriptions of genuine Bose replacement earpads, we know that they eventually changed the method of attaching the two sheets of "leather" together, from heat welding to some kind of stitching. What I don't know is whether Bose also made their cushioning firmer at the same time, in which case these imitations would be faithful in that respect.

Was ready to go ahead and spend another $350 on my Bose noise cancelling headphones. I wear them every day on my subway commute in NYC, then toss them in my bag. They take a ton of abuse. At least two hours a day of use and a lot of travel in a bag. Every part was worn out. Thought, dang I need a new pair. But they worked fine, just looked horrible. Got this product and it feels like they are brand new. Honestly you could use the head band strap as a protective item on its own. The big fault I found in Bose headphones is the top tends to wear out fast and can damage the wiring. But these with confidence.
