Durable and consistent
Along with Ambassador Coated, these are my favorite heads for snare drums. I prefer Evans G1 for it's longevity. Coating on Evans heads seem to last much longer than Remos from my experience. They sound great and last long. I'm happy with them.

I've played Evans exclusively for the past ten (10) years......I enjoy the sound the produce. The G1 head is long lasting, great sounding and east to tune. I recommend.
