I love using these I'm my skimmer to help remove those peskier fine particles from the pool! We had a water bug issue this summer and it was excellent at pulling them out and removing them ! They can be reused if you wash them out with a sprayer hose attachment and last quote a few uses before Changing them out. Great value for the amount you get at the price as well if you prefer not to reuse them as I do.

I was highly skeptical that it would work, but it did and it has made my job of cleaning the skimmer and filter containers sooooooooooo much easier and it holds perfectly to the skimmer basket (I thought it would be sucked in, but Nooo0... It held perfect). Grrrrreat purchase.

I look at my filter basket a few times a week and just don't pay attention that I have a cross bar. The cross bar makes it difficult to attach the sock but not impossible. If it does not hold up, I will need to look at alt ways to hold it on. Also, read the instructions as it says chlorine pucks will rapidly deteriorate the sock. This explains why I see companies selling 30 packs I guess.

I get a lot of pinestraw and tree debris in my pool and bought these pre-filters to keep from having to stop pump and empty strainer. They work well for both my in-floor cleaning system and the regular pool pump, capturing the larger debris. To clean I just take them out, empty the debris and rinse with a hose. These will float the caught debris when the pool is off, but it makes it really easy to clean out the trap.

I really like these.They stretch nicely over the skimmer basket. They don’t conform into the basket but are still able to collect the junk that gets into the skimmer.These are great for keeping hair and leaves etc from going to your filter. Stuff gets by, don’t get me wrong, but these catch alot.Highly recommend these.
