Myzone MZ-Switch Physical Activity Heart Rate Monitor Suitable for Wrists, Arms & Chest

This was the upgrade I needed to ensure my MEPs are being measured. Versatile and works well.

I like the stats it keeps for my workouts. However the battery life doesn’t last as long as the 6 months it states. I use it about 6-8 hrs a week and I have had to recharge in just 6 weeks. At the start of my work out yesterday it stated I have 20% life of battery and it died 45 mins into my workout. So frustrating! The app should show battery life so we can charge it prior to a workout so we don’t lose part of our workout.

Got one to replace the MZ-3 which works well. Received it and the instructions say it comes fully charged. The battery was dead. I charged it and went to the gym with it on my wrist. The readouts were all wrong. Said I was 50% zone when I was working hard and 5 minutes later I was 80% zone when I had been resting. Switched it to the chest and it was no better. After 45 minutes the battery was 70%.Amazon processed a return and the new one arrived with the battery dead. Charged it up and turned it on. It connected to the app then turned off. Turned it on again and same result.1 faulty device is possible. 2 faulty devices is a trend of a poor design.Do not buy this…..

EASY to use!

I have the chest one, and got this to relieve the brake outs I was getting. The arm strap is poorly designed as the unit doesn’t snap in but literally just sits in there with nothing but your skin holding it in. Battery sometimes drains quickly. And doesn’t communicate with the gym receiver we’ll, showing 0 calories burned 45 minutes in. It’s right on my phone but it doesn’t transfer to the tv screens well while everyone else’s myzone (chest strap older version) does

I like this monitor as it links up to your gym screens and shows your effort amongst other indicators on the screens around the gym. Gives me a little boost when I see I'm not trying hard enough. The actual app is pretty good but could do with a little tweaking.

It is so convenient to use in any situation. Designed very well - like all Myzone products. Yet another asset to to inspire me and retain my exercise regime for well-being.

I like the way it records heart rates and calories. I like the way I can wear it on my wrist and arm rather than on my chest

The fit is perfect. I mainly use this device for Running and Gym as well as everyday wear.

I bought this new model as my previous one which was the old model died. I was excited to try this one as I loved the old version so much and had high hopes for this.However, the Battery doesnt last a week and it requires constant charging. My previous one I could up to 2 months without charging.A few times I have worn it while doing my weight training and finished my workout to realise it only recorded about 10 minutes of my hour long workout.its expensive heart monitor and im debating if I go back to the old version.
