In fact, at the point of release it is the smallest and lightest standard zoom with a constant F2.8 aperture for full-frame mirrorless cameras. The lens is highly versatile and is perfect for a wide range of photographic applications including landscapes, portraits, weddings, street, close-ups and architecture, and at 470g (L-Mount version) it’s easily portable enough to take on a casual outing. It's heavy. Picture quality is amazing. Corners at 24mm are a bit stretched. Some vinyeting. reversable lens hood button is a pain in the ass.
