Awesome product - Repeat Buyer - AMAZING Customer Service
UPDATE 1/26/2015: Just some follow up comments to put ahead of my original review. I broke my original wand when I stepped on it (it was on the edge of a cinder block and the angle was just right for it to snap). First of all, that was a freak accident, this wand is actually pretty sturdy. Well, I ordered a new wand that day. Now, about two months after I began using the new wand, I noticed a small drip coming from the joint between the valve and the actually wand pipe. It gradually got worse. So, I called Orbit customer service and told them about this. They immediately sent me a new wand... no questions asked. I'm very pleased with them.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I just received this item today and I immediately tried it out. I love it. My first two watering wands broke because the spring in the trigger mechanism wore out. With this product, you do not have to deal with a trigger style handle. It's just a simple fire hose style valve. One nice thing I like is that I don't have to squeeze a trigger the whole time I'm watering in order to get a stream of water. All I need to do is open and close a valve. I think this feature would make this wand good for folks who can't grip for a long period of time. The head is adjustable. That's a big deal. I was looking at the more expensive Gardena wand, and its head did not adjust. I think that is what swayed me to this product (plus the Orbit wand was about 15 bucks cheaper). I really can't fuss with twisting and tilting a wand to accommodate the angle I need to water. I need an adjustable head to do that work for me.I will keep updating this review to let you know how durable this wand is. Longevity is, of course, supremely important. I'll keep you posted.

Just what we needed to water our hanging plants.
We splurgged this spring with hanging pots , I was having a problem reaching the last three pots hanging up high , my hose didn't reach so I was spraying water at them but not enough water was actually watering my plants . I was wasting waterand my plants were drying out . I found this wand and all of the features I thought would work with me , and I was right .Now as Iam watering I can easily reach all of them , I can aim the adjustable nozel as I need to so all of my water is in the planter and not all over the ground.I really like the gripper/handle at the front , Its easy to turn water down and off fast . If you need a wand to water your plants I recomend the turret wand , its a great quality , the price was lower than the others that I saw as I shopped . Get the turret wand to make your watering chore easy and fast this summer.

Wow, what a difference this makes!
Ordered this to aid a house sitter in watering the plants while on vacation. This thing works great, goes from a soft gentle mist to a pure jet and every setting in between with a simple twist of the nozzle. The adjustable head is also a great feature that allows easy watering above your head or below your feet. I would have given it 5 stars if the on-off lever was metal and stored in the off position against the body of the device instead of 90-degrees out. Since it is plastic and doesn't store against the body of the unit I can see that it might be easily broken. Other than that is has held up with no problem for a month already with everyday use.

mercy for my hand muscles
been using regularly (daily since summer) a brass wand roommate found at a ross dress for less. that one had a metal valve dial to open and close the water stream to the nozzle. this was fine for awhile but after a lot of flexing of my index and middle fingers to spray paint a bunch of furniture, twisting the dial on and off as i moved thruout the yard became truly taxing on my battered nerve endings and digit muscles.i was so excited to get this new wand i couldn’t even wait until the weekend to go install it on my new hose. it’s fantastic! while i would have preferred more of a full spectrum of water release thru the handle, i am ok with the click setting - it’s extremely sensitive toward shut off so you never have to worry about overwatering. the fixture is good though i added a brass connector to increase the distance between the handle cushion and the joining hose since my hose has a shut off valve that was too close to the mouth leading to the dial being jammed shut by the cushion. the ratcheting head gives you lots of control over your spray and the wand length is just right. even though it seems really durable and sturdy, it is lightweight, so hoping for less wrist strain raising wand to water. time will tell whether it’s crafted to endure weather, water pressure stress and regular handling, but i’m hoping it holds up because i’m really happy with this wand so far!

I love this watering wand!
This wand is the best one I've purchased, by far. It's lightweight (I have arthritis in my hands) and the controls are easily operated, has plenty of options for water pressure and flow type to accommodate the various plants and flowers I need to tend. I will definitely purchase another one for my other spicket!
