Broken, luckily I saw the tags on the ground in front of me and realized it had broken right away!! I would have been devastated if I had not noticed them. The clip part broke right off.

These are such good quality and such a great idea that I really wanted to give them a try!We adopted two furry kids this past summer and they are a hand full, but so darned cute! Our bigger one is just a pup at 34" tall at the withers (shoulders) so she's a big girl! We call her the long tall drink of water. After getting a new collar, I thought that these clip on tags would be just the perfect thing because I was very tired of trying to pry the rings apart to put her tags on her collars. I also thought the pink bone with the bling around it would be perfect for her.First, the bone--to put their name in the bone, you have to pry the O ring off of the top of the bone to remove the pink paper to write their name, then replace it in the bone and replace the O ring. It's kind of a pain to do but it does keep the paper secured, so it's a love/hate relationship there.Second, the tags hang down a long way on the dog. You can see how long they are on her in the picture. If she was a smaller dog, they would be super long even with the smallest ring. That said, I liked it and thought nothing of it since she is such a tall girl.Well, the first thing she did was get the bone in her mouth and chew it off of the ring. Next, she went after her regular tags and actually did chew her chip tag off.Next, because she's an active pup, she came racing through the house and somehow managed to catch her tags in my capris on the way through and ripped the whole side seem out before I got her stopped. Yikes! Thanks goodness we were at home.Then, she got the tags caught in her crate sides and couldn't move. It had a heck of a time getting them back through the wire sides of the crate. I have no idea how she did that! Luckily, we weren't gone very long.The last thing that she did that made me remove the tags was to get the tags caught in the pet fencing which scared her to death and she took off dragging about 16' of pet fencing with her. We were fortunate that she didn't trip and hurt herself on the fencing in her frightened gallop but it was at that point that I took the tag holder off and just attached her rabies and ID tags to the collar ring normally without using the pretty stainless steel quick clips. It was just too dangerous.I have been using these for my keys and using the clips to clip the keys to the ring on my purse making them much easier to find, so there is a great use for them. Just not on my dog.I can't recommend these for use on a dog or cat that can get the tags tangled in something while out wandering or even in their crate and I'm really sorry about that because I really like them and their quality. Just too dangerous.

Too big for my Chihuahua's harness, but seem very durable. Will use for my beagle.
