Can't wait to read the sequel to this book enjoyed it so much .Keep writing as it is my only escape from my bed of existence was but true .

Kate working in the ER .. her keen eye saved a mans life(a bodyguard) . Her eyes make contact with his boss and his obsession begins. Soon he takes control and tries to protect her, no matter how she protests her life is in his hands now (and her mothers')Can she break free... does she really want to???Guess I'm reading the next installment to find out !!!

Nurse meets billionaire Russian whilst on duty in the er. Kate having been hurt in the past is wary of starting a romance with Alex who only wants a casual encounter. What I liked about late was she was normal, she had a good moral compass and tells Alex she isn't that kind of woman. Her friend thinks she should have some fun. Kate then decided to go against her character and agree to a date. Alex and Kate have that instant attraction and chemistry and the story goes from there. The Russian is successful but shady. There is a hidden threat who wants Alex out of the way so they can take over his empire.What I liked about Kate's character was she was normal, she worked hard and was selfless. Normally during romance novels there's a tendency to fall into certain patterns for example poor girl, rich guy buying poor girl the designer world. Here kate resists and calls out Alex saying there's nothing wrong with her clothes. Those patterns are included but are challenged which is refreshing.Not all women want designer brands, not all women want one night stands, some women like to take care of themselves and this book focuses on a strong female character with opinions that matter.Definitely entertaining and worth a look,looking forward to the next part.

What a whirlwind, I'm loving the FH backbone though. Can't wait to see how it finishes in book 2.Ends in a cliffhanger.

As soon as I saw the authors I thought it would b an amazing book but I feel let down. Yes it’s not a bad story but normally I’m unable to put their books down & def not unless I’ve finished a chapter, yet I had no problem with doin both with this book. It’s very mediocre for these authors & I def won’t b reading any further.

This book is absolutely brilliant to read the only thing wrong with it is the bloody ending it stops in midair I can’t wait to read the next book thank you

Loved this pulled me in from beginning to end, had a gripping storyline that kept me hanging on to the end have ordered the next book already!

I absolutely love both Anna zaires and Charmaine Pauls, their books are always full of excitement and passion with dark anti heroes that we all love. This book is no exception with Kate and Alex. The sparks fly when the meet and embark on a journey of discovering each other. The only complaint I have with this story is that it was lacking in action we usually associate with these two writers. The only excitement is towards the end of the book which ends on a cliff hanger. Still looking forward to part two which will hopefully be a bit more fast paced

Anna Zaire is a very good writer; her story is very good!

It's a little slow after their initial time together but it picks up the pace nicely after things get ironed out between them. I'm enjoying the dialogue inside Catherine's head. She's thrown into a world she doesn't belong or want to belong too. Never mind the cultural differences but the fact he's a man that is a Russian mafia man who is incredibly rich might be a bit overwhelming! However its a very steamy read and these two light a all consuming fire that will not be extinguished. It ends in a cliffhanger, of course, and now comes the intrigue!. You won't be disappointed with this one! 💥😍

Najaaaaaa……. Die Geschichte an sich ist nichts herausragend…… gut und flüssig geschrieben….. heisse Sex Szenen….. das war’s …..Eine solide Story die mich leider nicht packen konnte….. schade…..
