Have used cycling and running. 100km+ on bike and 35km+ running and I can confirm that these are great for chewing on, on the bike but are not great when running. They are too chewy and hard to digest. I would 100 percent recommend for cycling but not running. Good value for money and really do help increase your carbs and energy in a ride. Not sure what the sugar content is but they are quite sweet. They are very easy to use on the go.

If you're sick of having sticky hands on your bike rides due to energy gels then switch over to these chews. I'm a massively fan of SIS and especially their Beta Fuel range but I previously exclusively used their powder and gels. However, after a friend offered me one of these chew blocks, its unlikely that I will use gels again in the future. They're easier to eat on the go, you don't get sticky hands from the gel residue and you know you're getting every drop of carbs out of the packet unlike gels which are sometimes tricky to use. They're a similar taste to gels and I've faced no GI issues etc. 11/10 highly recommend.

Great tasting and easy to use whilst running and cycling. Really felt the effect of these when needed in competitions. They are easy to just eat blocks at a time if you don’t need the whole bar. Wrapper was also easy to open whilst on the move. Nice orange taste and not too sweet.

One of the bars was lemon instead of orange. It doesn’t come on the SIS 6 pack box, so they probably just resell from the bigger boxes. The product is still fine, just odd

For anyone that struggles with the texture of gels, this is a game changer. Have used this on many long runs now, and haven't had any gastro issues so far. The cost of these on subscription is decent, I've only seen it cheaper from questionable sources.

Having tried a number of different gels (and not found any that are easy to consume and agree with my stomach, these have been a relevation. They are more like jelly cubes (for making jelly with) and are easy to eat, not sickly or sticky. Each energy chew has 2 sticks of 3, I eat a third at a time, and they are then easy to fold the packaging over and put them away while you eat. I use them for cycling and hillwalking and they're some much easier to handle than gels, allowing you to eat part and spread it out - I always ended up taking the whole gel to save on mess even if I didn't want any more. Once I've started to eat one, it gives me the energy I need to keep active, helping me to concentrate and complete the activity. They are suitable for vegans, meaning I can keep one in my rucksack in case someone in my group needs some energy, without worrying about whether they can have it. Overall, a great product that does what you hope it will do. And did I mention it's better than a gel??!

Despues de 32 años practicando ciclismo empiezo ha estar saturado de barritas,y esta nueva opcion es un soplo se aire fresco en este tema,muy digeribles al no ser tan secas como las barritas ,sabor logrado nada empalagoso y 45 g de hidratos por bolsita, combinado con geles sera mi gasolina para las etapas este verano,estaria muy bien que se animaran a sacar sabores refrescantes: menta,lima limon,piña....por pedir que no quede.

Ich finde die Konsistenz gut, kann man auch bei der Fahrt gut kauen, geht mir besser runter als Gels da es sich wie "essen" im Magen anfühlt

Io li uso quando faccio pedalate intense e ad alta intensità danno molta energia in modo immediato. Sono molto digeribile e hanno un buon sapore.
