Great
These are a direct replacement for the Ford unit and are exactly the same. I could not fault them. Come pre-greased and ready to fit. Which is also a really easy job.Very happy.

Well Made and Work as Intended
I purchased these for my 2010 F150. I have had issues with the 4WD for two years now with it becoming totally inoperable last year. I did some testing and determined it was likely the actuators. I was in the midst of changing out the struts and planned some additional testing of the actuators to confirm if they were indeed bad. While working on the the first strut I removed the old actuator to perform a vacuum bench test and it split in half while removing it - pretty much confirming it was bad. Being half way through the job I needed these quickly. I normally do not purchase my auto parts on Amazon but made an exception to get them overnight - which I did. I really don't know if they were both needed, but I decided to just do them both since the price was reasonable and I was changing out the struts anyway.Ends up they are well made. Maybe not OEM quality, but not cheaply made by any stretch. They come well packaged and pre-greased which is a good thing especially if you are not experienced enough to know how to pre-grease an actuator. It is pretty important. That said, one of the canned ratings is "are they easy to install?". That really has nothing to do with the actual actuator but more about your skill with auto repairs. It is not a job for a basic back yard mechanic. They do come with some extra bearing grease which is needed, so it can help prevent a less than perfect installation. Based on all that I have no concerns with recommending these actuators if a change is needed. Well made at a very fair price.Note: If you have not done a lot of auto repairs I suggest you check out some You Tube videos to see if you are up to the task. I recommend FordTechMakuloco. He does a good job showing how to replace these which will give you a good idea if it is within your capabilities.

Part unsuitable for use.
For a F150 this part is unusable. Some of the gear teeth have been machined away resulting in not enough engagement for 4x4. Burrs left on teeth too to prevent hub shifting. Bladder and spring are wrong length and won't work installed. I had to clean and install old part.
