Used these to make connections for gauges I installed. There is a video on you tube that helps greatly with assembly. And be ready for small part assembly. I didn't like the connection the wire makes with the prongs, so I used a bit of solder to make the connections tight. Just make sure you have the wire through the weather seal before soldering. And do not use too much solder, makes the connections hard to assemble. I should take pictures when I do it, huh? 😠 I do like the fact someone is making these connectors so we can make nicer wiring connections. The Kit has 2 each of the 2 and 3 connectors, but only 1 of the rest. Nice kit case too. Keeps it all together. I used 18 gage wire. No problems. I would not have a problem buying another one.

These are great don't get me wrong. I used them to update the wiring in my 78 Ford truck when swapping in a new LED digital gauge cluster. Putting them together is a little time consuming but they look great and they seem to work fine. The only compliant I have is the instructions are useless, and the insert piece to lock the pins in is a PITA sometimes to get in right, takes a little finesse to make them work. I like them enough though to buy 2 sets so far, so can't be that bad I guess.

Good connector for my project car when you cannot find the brand new original wiring set. It is pretty easy to replace the old connector. The connector lock is strong and tight. The pin fitment is pretty well and works great. I recommend everybody buy the waterproof connector instead of electrical tape and cable tie.

I broke 3 connectors so far because the orange retainer components do not want to sink down as far as they need to even if you’re well under the AWG spec.
