This is SO SOFT and molds to your body any way you want. It is quite heavy (I'm pretty weak as 8lbs is heavy for me) and large but that was what I needed. I have severe chronic pain (21 years) that never ends and I have tried so many different ice packs so to have something so comfortable and supportive is relief that makes me weep. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
