⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm delighted to share my five-star review for the Heiden Monaco Single Watch Winder! This elegant and functional watch winder has exceeded my expectations in every way, offering exceptional quality, versatility, and style. First and foremost, the design of the Heiden Monaco Single Watch Winder is simply stunning. The black leather exterior with diamond-stitched vegan leather accents exudes luxury and sophistication, making it a beautiful addition to any room or watch collection. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the winder's design, from the sleek exterior to the soft linen interior that cradles my watch in comfort. In terms of performance, the Heiden Monaco Single Watch Winder truly shines. It offers a range of impressive features, including 12 program settings that cater to various winding needs. Whether I'm looking to maintain the optimal power reserve of my automatic watch or simply showcase it in style, this winder delivers with precision and reliability. Plus, the option to power it with either batteries or an AC adapter adds an extra layer of convenience and flexibility. One of the standout features of this watch winder is its large interior space, which comfortably accommodates even the largest of watches. I appreciate the thoughtfulness that went into designing a winder that can accommodate a wide range of watch sizes, ensuring that all of my timepieces are treated with care and attention. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the Heiden Monaco Single Watch Winder. It's a true standout in terms of quality, performance, and style, and I highly recommend it to any watch enthusiast looking for a premium winder to showcase and maintain their prized timepieces. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Outstanding value
I was having difficulty deciding between the single and double watch version of this winder. One of the reviewers commented, “it does not rotate the watches enough to keep time”. There were plenty of other glowing reviews, but decided to get the single in case it really doesn’t rotate enough. The instructions come with a chart of various watch brands, how many rotations per day, and which direction, (clockwise, counter clockwise, or both directions) is recommended. The winder has 4 turning modes, 650, 950, 1250, and 1850 turns per day, and the three direction options I listed. For Rolex the chart recommends between 650 to 800 turns per day in both directions. I put my 2006 GMT Master 2 on the winder, set at 950 turns per day in both directions. After two days I took the watch off the winder and set it on a flat surface. The watch finally stopped at a little over 44 hours. I manually wound it 30 turns, set the time and, put it back on the winder; lowering the setting to 650 turns per day, and repeated the experiment. The results were identical. This winder has zero issue keeping watches wound, at least Rolexes. It’s aesthetically pleasing, one of the nicer looking winders in my opinion. It’s very quiet, appears to be quite well made, and has real glass instead of plastic for the front panel. My only regret is not getting the double watch version. If there are any significant changes in the future I’ll amend my review.

Really good watch winder compared to others that are on the market. Has a classy look and is extremely quiet

At this time it performs very nicely. The appearance is as presented and as expected
I have only owned the Monaco watch winder for about three week and for that reason cannot give it five stars. I need to experience at least a year of ownership to determine if it will justify five stars. At this time it performs very nicely. The appearance is as presented and as expected. It is very quite, but not totally silent. I use it for a rolex with diamond bezel and it fits comfortably. The devise is very easy to use. At this time I am very satisfied.

Significant upgrade to the Chinese model I had, but far cheaper than a Wolf.
My Chinese winder was very pretty, with plenty of options, but for some reason the 45 degree angle would not wind my Seiko Presage automatic. I decided to give this one a try, even though it's a bit more expensive. The upgrade in quality is obvious. The leather quilted cover feels very upscale, the buttons are simple but well made, and even the "little" things like the watch pad feel a level up. Even minor things like always stopping with the watch in the upright position make this feel classy. I set it for 650 TPD (recommended for my watch) and clockwise (mine will work with either) and hit the start button. It keeps it fully would just as advertised. I highly recommend this. I can't justify a $500 Wolf, and I'm not sure what it would do that this one doesn't.

Full-featured winder offers good value
I wad attracted by the Heiden Monoco’s choice of four turns-per-day settings ranging from 650 to 1850 TPD. Most inexpensive winders operate at a very high 2880 TPD, which can harm a watch over time, while the more expensive brand offers only one 900 TPD setting. For my Omega Seamaster 2500, I set the winder at 650 TPD, turning both clockwise and counter-clockwise, land after 6 days my watch is still keeping perfect time. And the winder runs whisper-quiet. I don’t hear it at all. I also like the fact that the winder holds my watch face vertically and always returns to the starting upright position when stopped. It has a convenient power on-off button, comes with an AC power cord and can also run on D batteries (but winders devour batteries very quickly). The slightly oblong watch pillow will hold either a regular-size or a large watch. The padded winder case is reasonably attractive, but—one slight quibble—I wish the hinged cover opened a little wider. I am extremely happy with this Heiden watch winder and think it offers great value at its price point.

Not as reliable as originally thought.
I am keeping my original review below but I am updating it here. After a few months the motor on this unit began to make a lot of noise. So much so, that it was keeping me up at night even though it was at the other end of the room. I decided to buy a second one while I send out the first one for a warranty repair. The brand new unit would not stop in an upright position. It stopped randomly. I immediately returned it. I'm still using the noisy one until it breaks down ,but I'm not very happy with this unit anymore. Original review: Prior to purchasing this winder, I owned a Spin-R, double winder with digital touch screen controls and LED lighting. The unit was very pricey and almost immediately, I began to have issues with it including non-responsive touch screen, noise and eventually intermittent failure winding one of the watches. Lesson learned was that paying a premium didn't guarantee longevity or quality. Another lesson was that if your dual winder fails on one side, you get to replace the entire thing. I decided to buy one of these Heiden winders to try out, with the intention of getting a second one if I liked it. That way when one eventually dies, I can replace just one winder. I found that the winder is quiet enough to be in the bedroom and not be heard. The finish and overall feel of it seems like it is made well. Not only am I very happy with it, I discovered I don't need two. If you don't mind facing a second watch in the opposite direction (see photo), you can fit two watches in this unit without issue. I have two 36mm Datejusts in there and they do not rub on each other. I simply reverse which one is facing toward the front each time I take or replace a watch.

Beautiful watch winder but noisy
This watch winder is very premium and stylish, and it looks great on my dresser. But the motor is audible from across the room when it's running. My older, cheaper watch winder is much quieter - I need to put my ear right next to it to hear it operating. So the noise coming from the Heiden is especially disappointing. I followed up with the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement under warranty. Unfortunately the new one is just as loud. Too bad, I expected more.
