Cute**Beautiful colors
Recently I have been on a tight budget and was looking for something very affordable. I decided to get the HP laptop. Basically because it has Windows and comes in a variety of colors. I received the laptop on a timely manner. I think it is very cute. Very beautiful color and design. I am pleased with the way it looks. It is compact but not too small. Very functional and comes with Windows 10 , Microsoft Word, and Excel. You basically can do anything.Overall I feel that this particular laptop is ideal for teens and young adults. Basically anyone if you want something a little different. I like it and so far no complaints!

It has ALWAYS felt like someone owned this computer before me
I bought this laptop early this year, and i have had issues with it since the moment I got it. First - there is less than 2 Gig of free space on my laptop. When I received it, 27 of the 29 Gigs were already being used up. I have NO IDEA what is on this laptop's storage because I have not installed anything... so there is something in this refurb that takes up nearly all the space. I do everything through web browsing since I cannot download anything to this computer.Additionally because of the storage issue...- it runs very slow (e.g. I click on a button and it takes 3-5 seconds for something to load, every time - regardless of where I am accessing internet)- I cannot install Windows updates (not enough space - even AFTER I deleted every temp file, every Word file - anything I could find on this thing)- I cannot install any sync software for work, such as my Dropbox freeware (no space)And today my final straw is the battery is dead. It only works when plugged in, which is insanely inconvenient. The claim of "look and acts as new" is false. It has ALWAYS felt like someone owned this computer before me, especially since there is minimal space on this laptop. I am VERY disappointed and now don't have a laptop that functions well so I can perform at work. My boss owns a refurbished HP and paid the same amount of money and it works very well, so I KNOW a proper refurb is possible... but mine is not.I am going to go to Amazon to see about returning it. I am so disappointed and now GREATLY inconvenienced.

Great handy Laptop for College Students!
Just received today. Packaging was very good. The Laptop was in good shape. Very light and thin. I loved the design! The set up was easy. Didn't take more than 5 mins. Bought this mostly for College to take notes everyday and surf in the internet. The laptop is GREAT for these purposes. I would recommend anyone looking for a handy laptop for these purposes...Remember, this laptop isn't meant to run Games or Download large sized files. If your purpose is either one of these, than look for something else...

Overall laptop for the price
The laptop it’s self is good and worth it but it is a bit slow and acts up every once in a while. The battery life is pretty good it lasts except when it’s getting near like 10% it gives you like a minute or two to plug it up or it will die.Overall a good laptop for a college student like me to do homework and projects or even stream and watch tv on it.

Great for what it is: inexpensive, light, "learner" or "backup" PC.
Great little "learner" computer for my 10 year old. Not much memory so it runs slow at times surfing the web or playing her games. Very light, which means not a lot of battery life but perfectly reasonable at about 5 hours. Screen has a limited optimal viewing angle and you need to be directly squared in front of it to avoid whitewashing or over-contrast issues. Touchpad is very sensitive and I find myself repeatedly "clicking" unintentionally on screen icons. Do yourself a favor and pick up a nice wireless mouse and a set of cheap headphones. Sound quality is just okay.

You won't get the color you asked for, because they don't even carry it.
I ordered this computer for my daughter's graduation, and paid 45 dollars more to get it in light blue instead of navy blue. (As you can see light blue is shown in the picture) but the one I received was still navy. I called amazon to get the correct color and was informed they don't even have light blue. I then had to call 2 more times before they would refund the difference (the 45 dollars). Other than that the computer is great for college. (that's why I gave 2 stars) Although she does have to save to a flash drive because the computer doesn't have much memory.

It was easy to set up and works perfectly
I bought this for my 12 year old grandson to do his schoolwork. It was easy to set up and works perfectly. The size is just right and he loves the color. I would buy it again!

No. Just. No.
I purchased this computer for simple tasks: HTML files and to play on the internet. It worked perfectly for a couple of months. Then Microsoft updated its operating system so it wanted to update on my system. No problem. But then I started getting messages that MS could not update because I needed 8 gigs of memory (remember, this is a 4 gig machine). After a while, I decided to go buy some extra gigs. Well there is the problem. The first guy that I went to said that this was not the type of machine where you add a memory, the memory is welded in. So I got a second opinion who told me that it would be easier just to buy a new computer. Then it started doing this thing where if I try to search the internet, Windows 10 is trying to update so it interrupts and I have to push "no" don't try to install because if I push "yes" then it tries to install and errors out. It has since become slow and almost unworkable because it is not up-to-date with viruses software or whatever windows is trying to install. My point to this story is that I was sold a system with an operating system that becomes inoperable within a couple of months. In if you take the initiative to try to upgrade to the point where the operating system should work, you will be told by multiple technicians that there is nothing that they can do.
