Well it’s an umbrella. But don’t expect it to be too sturdy. It’s a little flimsy at times if the wind blows too hard. I had a few times it opened and inverted itself. If it’s a quick LITTLE rain shower, it should be fine. But if you’re expecting a big rainstorm, I’d opt for something bigger and with more reinforcement.
