Satinara Luxury White Sugar Paste for Cakes and Bakes, Fondant Icing – White, Fondant Icing, 5kg

It's my first time using fondant and I was quite surprised with how easy it was to both shape and wrap a cake. It's quite soft when warmed in your hands and medium hard when dried. It's pure white, easy to mix with paste or liquid colouring. It's ok in taste when wrapped around the cake but I wouldn't try to eat a decoration. I'm happy with the quality and price and will definitely come back for more.

This fondant icing is of very good quality. Ism not very experienced with fondant icing and usually use store-bought brands if I have to use fondant, which I find can easily wrinkle or tear. I chose to spend more money on a better quality fondant as I had been asked if I could do a ‘fondant fancy’ wedding cake, the photo is a practice cake for that. I found it very easy to roll and work with, it stayed really smooth and didn’t wrinkle or tear. I will always use this from now on if I need to make a fondant covered cake. I have already recommended it to friends for their Xmas cakes!

Smooth and light, easy to use fondant. For me was bit tricky, a bit broke the fondant. It might be too thin, but really good work with it.

Wow what a great product smell lovely rolls so smooth just fantastic to work with I’ve use many icing fondant over the years off making celebrations cake and I can honestly say this is one of the best I’ve ever worked with will definitely recommend and use it in the future .

I usually prefer the premium Renshaw or Squires kitchen brands but resorted to this having left it too late to find the former in-stock for Christmas. Suitably impressed. It is pliable and super easy to work straight out of the packet.
