Tobar Backwards Clock, Black/White, 5143

This clock is well built and more robust than similar looking clocks of this size I have purchased in the past. The actual clock mechanism is a small unit taking a single AA battery, which seems to be the norm these days. It also has a single fixing point, whereby it can be hung on a protruding wall screw.I wanted a clock for the bathroom wall which could be viewed via the bathroom mirror without having to turn round when washing. Whilst the clock runs backwards the numbers run anti-clockwise, the numbers themselves are actually the correct way around. Therefore, when looking at the clock via the mirror, the time is correct but the figures backwards (takes a little getting used to)... doh my error, so opted to keep the clock anyway.One slight disappointment is the battery housing does not have a battery cover. I can foresee that the battery terminal will more than likely corrode overtime in a damp bathroom environment, much the same as the clock it's replacing...

I love this clock. I really love the way it confuses the hell out of everyone who comes on the house. It's a well made product, and if you have white walls like me the black frame makes it stand out and look even better. I like the 'time flies' written backwards on it, it was a couple of weeks before I actually noticed it.

Arrived early but the glass had a crack, I can't be bothered sending it back , took the glass out and hung it up . It's a clock that goes backwards and it does that.
