Great for this amateur and easy to use
This set was perfect for my amateur cake making needed for my daughter’s birthday. I used the smaller platform to balance 6” round cake in top of an 8” round cake. I didn’t need to use the pillars as the cake was fine without them, with the smaller platform providing a sturdy base. As I had baked Madeira cake, this was already a dense cake, so the pillars weren’t needed. However, the pillars are easy to trim to size if needed and are all individually wrapped for hygiene. This set is excellent value for money and was a great help in my two-tier design. Stability of the cake overall was excellent.

Held up well and supported a 3 tier cake in hot weather.
I used these for a 3 tier wedding cake and even in hot weather (and held together with buttercream) the cake survived standing until the cutting ceremony. The dowels were easy to measure and trim and the boards easily covered. Worked as expected and were really good value.
