My Kilner jars needed new lids and they fit perfectly .

These are okay but aren’t as sturdy as the ones that come with mason jars. The round lid insert buckled when I used it for kefir.

They buckle on the jar if heated in boiling water for few minutes. I can not seal jar contents by dropping the fully loaded jar in a boiling water for sealing.

Edit: I tried to use a few of these lids, using a method I have been successfully using for years with no issues. After 1 week food in the jars was growing bacteria, which had I not noticed could have made me very unwell, possibly even fatal (botulism does kill!!). If you chose to use these, you are taking a very big gamble.I am returning them as defective, and will order some proper ball lids for my ball jars instead.Original review: I purchased this as a replacement for my Ball jars which I use for canning. From other reviews I thought they would be a good fit, but they’re really not. When you compare them with the original Ball lids you noticed a stark difference, the cheap lids don’t fit properly and don’t go on the jars straight, meaning they’re no good for canning at all as the contents won’t be sealed and could lead to potential food poisoning.Won’t be buying them again.
