Aleira Equine Respiratory Health Supplement 2.8 lb

This respiratory supplement was highly recommended to me by my veterinarian. However, It is so costly, that I have to wonder if it's so fabulous as to be worth what it costs. I didn't see any big improvement with the 2.8 pound container and have doubts that the larger longer lasting container at almost $300 will work major miracles.

I spent a lot of money for a product that my animal will not eat. I have tried mixing it with applesauce, grated carrots, Molasses, syrup, etc.....one smell or taste and he stuck up his nose and refused to eat it. I tried putting it into a syringe and squirting it in his mouth and he just spit it back out. Maybe my animal is just really picky but I now have a container of medicine that is going to waste. I wish this product didn't have such a strong smell and that is was mixed in with Alfalfa pellets or something.

It smells horrible, falls to the bottom even when dampening grain, horses will not eat it. A huge chunk of change to spend on a product with such a foul odor and taste.

Recommended by Purdue University vet hospital for respiratory issues...a great supplement contributed to Arlington's recovery.
