Staves are really close together
My brother needed some manuscript paper to write music and make some notes. The staves on this paper are really close together. It may work well for someone who has better eyes and is used to reading music.

High quality, easy to use.
This is excellent quality, U.S.A. made paper. It is off-white with very clean lines on a smooth surface. Being 10 stave, the size is very easy for writing, but maybe a little small for old eyes like mine for reading. The smooth surface takes ballpoint pen and pencil quite well, and pencil marks erase more cleanly than dot matrix printer made paper.I had been using Boston Music Company paper, but this is also good quality stuff. It is shipped in a clear plastic bag with a “sandwich-bag” type fold-over closure on top, so there is no need to cut open or tear open and destroy the bag. That is a very good feature, as the unused pages remain clean and orderly on the shelf. This is more convenient than pad type or spiral type paper.

Music Staff Paper
It's fine... I just prefer a white background rather than what I call creme colored.

When you need to write music by hand
Yes, yes, I know there are online music composition programs, but this is GREAT for writing out short pieces of music when you just don't want to push all those buttons and format everything perfectly. I use this for writing "easier" passages of hard accompaniments, and for "translating" chant notation into modern notation for our local Latin mass group. To me, it takes much less time & effort than the online composition, especially when you only need 2 or 3 staves for the piece.
