Don't waste your $!
I've been putting straight tomato juice in my lab's food to reduce yellow spots on our lawn. However, straight tomato juice is getting hard to come by. I bought these upon recommendation from a friend. Where the tomato juice had always worked like a charm, we noticed that our lawn was quickly developing yellow spots. I gave it two weeks thinking there might need to be an adjustment period, but to no avail. We've discontinued using these. Now when I find tomato juice, I pretty much buy all that they have! These didn't work, not even a little bit! Don't waste your $!

You'll Still Have Dead Grass Spots, Just Not as Many of Them
I recently purchased my second bag of Dog Rocks after having used my first bag for the last 2 months. I have a 2-year old French Bulldog and started noticing yellow spots on my lawn in the areas she frequently pees in. I was getting very annoyed having to dig up the dead grass and plant new grass seeds, so a friend recommended I purchase these Dog Rocks. I have a 2-gallon container of water in the fridge for my dog, and the rocks permanently stay in the container. After around 2 weeks, I started noticing fewer dead spots on my lawn and then after the first month the spots reduced by around 75%. This product hasn't completely 100% solved the issue with dog urine causing dead spots on your lawn, but it definitely reduces the number of spots you have.Once you receive the bag of rocks in the mail, you will look at them and say to yourself "why did I just pay money for a bag of normal-looking rocks?" They don't look any different than the rocks you find in your yard, but I trust there is something with these rocks that effects your dogs' urine!

The only thing that has worked
We've tried everything to save our lawn and Dog Rocks have been the only solution that has actually worked. They even work longer than advertised. When I see a yellow spot - time to change out.

Great product...misleading size
I made the mistake of assuming a bigger bag meant more rocks. It doesn't. I have 3 dogs and this package came with only 3 rocks in it. I assumed that there would be more Roxana. That would last me a longer period of time now. The rocks are much larger than the smaller package. But it doesn't say anywhere that I saw. That you would only be getting 3 in this package. The product itself is great.I've used these before they work very well

The proof is in the green grass. 50lb goldendoodle ...
The proof is in the green grass. 50lb goldendoodle and her urine really affected the grass. Within 2-3 weeks, the grass stains began to disappear and now 4 months later, there is not a single yellow spot on our grass. We keep the rocks in her water bowl and they do not bother her, nor does she play with them or pull them out as others have reported. The rocks are all different sizes so the only decision is which ones to "pair up" to give her the right amount. One rock was excessively large and too much to use at once, but it breaks ok with a hammer. Small price to pay for a green yard. It may not work for all dogs as some report, but it's 100% effective for us. I think you have to be diligent about not giving other water sources and/or filling the water back up daily, but that's standard practice for us anyway. Extremely impressed. No mess. Simple. This will be an automatic buy for us every few months. I'd give 6 stars if I could!

Works for us
We’ve been using this product for years. We have three dogs and walk them thre times daily around our neighbourhood . We have wonderful neighbours so we didn’t want to damage their lawns as well as ours. We keep the Dog Rock in a large shaker bottle filled with water in our fridge. We pour from it into our dog water bowls & refill it about twice daily and our lawn looks great. There are some areas where the grass is yellow but I think that area is from the combination of clay soil and my one dog who always uses that particular spot. He drinks very little water, (he was a rescue from a hoarding and abusive situation) so his urine is always super concentrated- so makes sense. I honestly would recommend anyone to try it, but keep in mind that there may be other things contributing to your dog’s urine causing grass burns (type of food, meds).
