I have only had him for 3 years and have already had 3 of these leashes for him. My last dog lived for 18 years and his leash lasted his whole life. He never had an anxiety issue. **Q: Where is the size chart?** A: After answering this question, I noticed that the size might also relate to the part you hold in your hand. If you look at specifications at the bottom of the page, you can see a visual size difference. Plus, the small shows that the leash is only 10 ft long whereas the others might be 16 ft. It would help if they were more specific rather than us having to guess. **Q: Will I absolutely get the new version? The exact one shown on the description? I don't want the old version.** A: I wasn't aware there were old and new models, but I got the same as is shown on the photos.BTW... this leash is noticeably heavier duty than those models I've had previously. My dog is just over a year old and 38 lbs , and she likes to pull a lot on walks. By the numbers, this leash is the one I need for her weight/size, but it seemed like overkill for our big puppy.
