The shoulder strap has a cushion where it sides on your should and the strap is made what almost seems like a seatbelt like material. I've owned this bag 6 years now doing hvac so it bounces around in a truck , it's fallen down steps and off a. 3 story roof. The only issue us the shoulder strap is fraying a bit. I was using a Stanley open bag with a Velcro bit in the middle which after a bit started collapsing. This has a solid centre which is ideal. Holds a drill and inspection camera on one side, and then all the standard pliers and prys I need for work on the other. Small but fits everything I need. Is extremely useful for me. Would never go back to a cheaper inferior bag.
