Easy to install. The screw holes all lined up. Great padding. BLACK Color and materials matched our interior.

Fit perfectly and easy install. Seems to match my interior color well, matches the old arm rest. Nice quality with good stitching. Functions well. The stitching is in a different location than the OEM, if that’s a deal breaker for you. It wasn’t for me as my OEM had a gaping hole in it from 325,000 miles of elbows. Reuses the mounting screws from the bracket that it attaches to. The screw pillars aren’t milled out very well, so you’ll have to add a bit of force to make them bite into it. They will strip out, so don’t over tighten them. You’ll also need to remove the series of circumferential screws on the underside of the arm rest to get to the both the new and old mounting. Quite happy with it

Great value for the price. Leather feels better than OEM. My only complaint is the 4 mounting holes weren't threaded, and I had to force the screws in. I would give this a 4.5 star review if i could. Fits like stock, easy and cheap way to restore the look of your interior.

This console replacement makes my Avalanche look amazing. My husbands rough elbows had rubbed the original rest raw so when I drove it would cut my arm. After looking for all things Amazon, I found this entire replacement console was not much more than buying a cover. I actually removed the old one and put on the new one myself. You only need a phillips screwdriver. Helpful tip. The old console has to come off in two pieces. The inside molding has screws that have to come out. When you try to pull away from the outside console piece push in the outside latch release. The molding will detach easily.

There are other options on Amazon that you should try first. Including pics to help explain. 1. The seams are sown in a way that your arm will rest on them instead of them being on the sides of the lid as the original was. If you wear short sleeve shirts, you will feel them and it will be annoying. 2. It came with absolutely no instructions. You have to remove the inner liner by removing eight screws. They sent you the thing fully assembled and you have to disassemble it to be able to install it because the inner liner covers up the hinge that connects to the lid itself. 3. The screws they used to hold the inner liner on are not the type of screws that should be used. See photo. The original screws have angled heads to help them secure the inner lining to the plastic posts. They are also threaded appropriately so you don't easily strip them and so vehicle vibrations don't prevent keeping a secure fit. 4. The 4 pre-drilled holes in the lid where the hinge attaches to the lid are drilled too low such that you can only get the existing hinge to line up with a couple of them. I basically had to use the screws to create new holes right next to the pre-drilled ones which means the new ones are weaker. Sorry I didn't get a picture of this, I was too pissed during the process and forgot. All in all, whoever created this didn't care to do a complete job and you should try out anything made by their competitors before buying this one.
