The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-Chan: The Complete Series - Essentials Blu-ray + Digital

I actually liked this better than S2. Great little comedy based off the actual series. It's full of all kinds of references to things that happened in the main series. Great show I recommend it to any Haruhi fan, or more specifically Yuki fan.

I didn't like this one as much as the "Melancholy" and "Disappearance of Haruhi" installments. There are some funny Kyon moments, but otherwise, I was pretty bored. I hate romantic comedies and got this one knowing full-well this is one. I just expected more, I guess.I think that this version of Yuki is what I disliked most.

It cuts off so much sooner than the comics, as well as straying from it further than most animated adaptations of other comics I've seen. Some of it is exactly the same, though, so that's nice.Mind you, this is an animated Japanese romcom, so if you're not comfortable with high-pitched voices and "-chan" every two minutes, you're gonna have a bad time. This series doesn't do exactly that, but it's a fairly basic romcom with a few hints at the original series to try and spice it up.Ultimately, I would say this is more for the fanboys than the fans.

Adding haruhi to this spinoff was a mistake. She would have been ok as an occasional addon, but after they introduce her into the story she dominates most every episode.

Love the story of Yuki

A spin-off of the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. This series takes the perspective of Nagato and also in some different dimension where the outcome is a lot different. Still good slice of life and Haruhi is still energetic than ever. Can recommend it for fans of that series or some slice of life genre.

A welcome addition to this series enjoyed it and was very good quality !

Of all the Haruhi Suzumia anime I liked this one the best.

For those who were intrigued by Yuki's vibe in the main anime series and felt for the shy Yuki in the alternate universe of the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya should enjoy this spin off series. For me, I wanted to find out more about this alternate universe and shy Yuki and I was not disappointed. I like this alternate take on the characters. The personality traits and quarks of each character is mostly the same with no supernatural powers. The character designs is a little different but not a big deal to me and each character is still recognizable from the main series. This is a light hearted series of Yuki, her shyness and her friends as they go about their daily school lives and the situations they share. The characters have cutesy moments which suits this series. Kawaii!! If you are expecting the supernatural stuff from the main series then chances are this spin off is not for you, but if you just want to immerse yourself in this alternate universe then I think you should find it an enjoyable watch. I hope they make more episodes.

Originally I found it "just fine" - but I decided to watch it again and I must have gone through it 3 or 4 times after that. I just fountdit so enjoyable to watch and packed full of good storytelling and humour. I now watch it and am tempted to just pop it in to watch again. It has about 3 or 4 story threads .. Christmas Party, Valantines Day, Trip to a Resort, Nagato story, and the love story wrap up. All very good. I would recommend it for sure.

An excellent slice of life series starring Yuki from the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. So many alternate takes compared to the main series, but it can stand on its own.

Really good show. Recommended watch.

DVDとBlu-rayが同梱されています。北米版ですので普通のBlu-rayデッキでは再生できませんでした。WindowsPCのPowerDVDで国設定を米国にして再生できました。日本語で視聴できますが英語字幕はオフにできません。DVD収録のものは字幕がオフにできました。ディスク数枚の端に指紋が付着していましたが、すべてのディスクで問題なく再生できました。日本国内版を購入したのですが、価格が高すぎて手が出ませんでしたので、安価な北米版を選択しました。できれば日本国内版を買いたいので値段を考慮してほしいものです。
