Small but mighty
Very easy to use right out of the box. Definitely wear the provided eye protection when using. This did not include gloves but luckily I did have some. This mini chainsaw helped tremendously when cutting my hedges. It does take a while since they are mini and you have to often check that nothing is lodged in the blades, depending on what youโre cutting. It doesnโt take up much space and even with the battery pack attached it is lightweight. I really am impressed with the size and its ability to cut through the toughest branches. I can now save myself money doing my own maintenance and not have to pay for services.

The BEST TOOL of the many I own!!
This mini chain saw has made a significant difference in my life (No exaggeration) I have significant issues with both my hands and both wrists that prohibit me from using a full size chain saw or a regular manual saw. This is easy and highly effective one hand operation. I have been able to remove several thick branches from trees around my property. Just yesterday trimmed many branches off of three out of control white birch trees and had power left over in the saw for other projects. This saw will save you time by not having to get loppers or a big chain saw to operate, With one hand you can quickly and easily accomplish the task. It is there and ready for you!! This saw is easy to operate with just one hand. It uses a regular chain saw blade and torque of the motor is super impressive. Not once did it slow or stall due the saws fault (just my poor skills) This saw is stupid easy to maintain and adjust. It comes with a small wrench, a screw driver and tiny bottle of oil, safety glasses and a whole lottas fun! . I hang this saw from the built in lanyard around the armrest of my mower and when needed it is ready and available. I loaned it breifly to my friend who is a Grizley Adams type who also is a high end contractor who designs and builds high end craftsman homes. he was so amazed at the performance and capabilityt of the saw he ran home and bought one also. This will make you go out to find stuff to cut down. Watch out neighbors!!!! NO exaggeration, This is the buy of the year!! No regrets this is a game changer.

Great yard tool
This is a godsend is so easy to use and itโs lightweight. It doesnโt tire my hand or my arm out and it does the job and I like the fact that it has a rechargeable battery so I donโt have to be full around with gas or oil.

Good trimming tool
This is a replacement saw for my original, bought a few years ago. That one stopped working over this last winter. The original batteries work well with this although the newer battery is slightly longer. It works well for small branches up to about 3" . I did transfer the 6" bar and chain from the old saw to the new one and it works fine. I didn't realize this was only a 4" saw when I placed the order. Verify the size when ordering.

One of my best purchases! It's great!
I bought this one as a gift for my son, but I have had mine for over a year and I still love it! The only thing I needed to do after reading the directions was add some oil to the chain and it was ready to go! Rubber work gloves and protective eye googles are included in the box. This mini chain saw is simple to operate, light and easy to handle, and makes quick work of cutting branches and trees up to 4" thick, which doesn't sound like much but that is a decent sized branch. Battery power was strong though several hours of work. Game changer! Wish I'd bought one years ago!

Works Well / Using On Juniper Shrubs / No Issues So Far
I've been using this electric chainsaw for a few days now and it has been pretty good. As someone who has never used any type of chainsaw, I would say that this one is good for a beginner. First, I will note that I had a dumb moment preparing the saw. Specifically, you are supposed to oil the chain before each use. I watched a couple of videos where people did this and would grasp the chain to spin it around while oiling. So I did that too. Well, let's just say that I cut my finger doing that (bad on me). Things that I have learned after using the device: 1) Just oil the visible section of the chain and don't worry about spinning it around. If you feel that you should spin it around, wear gloves. 2) You'll want to get used to the device. At first, it might bounce a little bit when you're applying it to a shrub/wood. However, as you get used to it, you'll figure out the amount of pressure to apply when using it. 3) You will need to tighten the chain to the device on a regular basis (using the provided tools). It's really easy to do. So don't get worried about having to do that. 4) Make sure that you use protective eyewear. I've never drained the battery when using the saw. However, I have charged it multiple times and have had no issues charging it thus far. I should note that I've been using it to cut out/up a hillside full of dead/dying juniper shrubs. So far, it has been going well (much better than a hand saw I was previously using). I'll update my review if I run into any issues but I have used it on 3 different days. Overall, I would say that the saw is worth considering/purchasing if you want to save time.

One of those tools that has no right to be as good as it is
Do you have a yard with weeds? Do you WFH and have to sit in many a meeting that enrages you? If so, I highly recommend the โtiny chainsaw rage weddingโ experience. I have cleared out so much invasive bittersweet and buckthorn, mowed down garlic mustard stands, and tackled surprise thatโs-a-terrible-place-to-grow thorny blackberry bushes, all as a meditative effort to avoiding screaming at my computer and/or colleagues. My yard looks nicer, the native flora and fauna are happier, and my online presence is calmer. I bought extra batteries to deal with the short life issue (itโs not actually that short given the size of the battery imo). The extra batteries are fairly cheap and not that heavy so you can charge them all up, tucked them into a backpack or wheelbarrow or whatever you use to carry your tools around, and rage-weed around the yard with impunity. I confess that Iโve not been good about cleaning or oiling the chain, or replacing it, and it seems to be fine. Sometimes itโll get jammed up with gunk but thatโs entirely my own fault, and easy enough to clean out. Take off the battery, find a clean-ish stick from the branch you just cleaved, and poke any material out. There are better, more official ways, but this is my realistic โin the fieldโ way. Bring some loppers with you and/or a hand saw for that inevitable moment where you want to use tinychainsaw on something, but that thing is just a liiiittle too big. Tool teamwork! Honestly, for a $40 tool I use so aggressively and without properly caring for it, it has no right to still be working two years later, but here we are. 1000/10 would recommend. And have recommended to basically everyone I know with a yard.

Surprisingly functional and easy to use!
The small size of the Saker saw may seem like a gimmicky tool, hence my initial skepticism. I decided to try it after watching some video reviews. In short, in actual use, it works great! It is really excellent for folks who are intimidated by a full size chainsaw and need it for branches 4" and under. The small size even made it useful/flexible to cut tree roots that were pushing up some paver stones; something definitely not advised with a full chainsaw. Perhaps most surprising was the long lasting battery; using it while trimming and cutting up branches from a felled tree, it did not run out. It is actually fun to use, so anytime I pull it out, I'm always looking around for something else to use it on. Looking around for more work! Lol! This Saker saw is extremely useful: recommended.

Portable Chain Saw
This is a great little chainsaw. Really great for trimming trees or bushes. Particularly good for someone who doesn't want to use a large chainsaw

Great little tool but poor instructions
I just received my mini chain saw. The instruction book is useless. I have never operated a chainsaw before. Instructions tell you many what not-to-do's but don't tell you how to know when battery is charged, how to operate, etc. No step by step guide. Comes with a tiny oil vial but instructions don't even tell you what kind it is (booklet says do not use mineral oil on fruit trees - is this mineral oil?) Thank goodness for You-Tube. Don't expect any step by step instructions with this unit! Now to try it out, now that YouTube has shown me how to use the thing! Who writes instruction books for these companies?!! &*%$@
