Fodor's The Complete Guide to Alaska Cruises

Not worthwhile for travelers to Alaska. Very brief port descriptions. Half the book is about cruise lines. Why? No mention of Icy Straight Point port. Very disappointed in this book.

We had already picked out our cruise but we're looking for information on the various ports and excursions. This book gives a good overview of cruising in general, the differences between the ships, and highlights in each port. I feel prepared for our cruise and am looking forward to it.

Excellent info on all the different cruise lines and their destinations - very informative
