Won't go a winter without it!
My horse is a beautiful black and white spotted saddle horse with a long white mane and a thick black tail. In the winter, the wind whips her mane into knots. There were times when I would daily have to try to get her mane untangled, but it just never lasted. That no longer happens. When I put this product on a tangle, it easily combs out, and if I consistently use it on her mane (once a week or so), I don't have to deal with tangles at all. I also noticed that her tail grew out longer over the winter than it normally does from using Mane-ly Long Hair Detangler. I'm not sure why that is, but last spring her tail was actually dragging on the ground after a winter of using it, and that has never happened before. I won't ever go another winter without having this product on hand. And by the way, it makes her tail and mane look extra beautiful and shiny in the summer too!

If it works for my Icelandic it will work for you!
This stuff is fabulous! I have an Icelandic who has a very thick and long tail and a mane that is about 3 times as thick as any of my non-Icelandic horses. He also likes to roll in the mud. I live in Wisconsin where mud season begins in February and ends...well we always HOPE it will end before next year's snow. Did I mention that we have a lot of red clay in our soil which dries into little bricks? Oh and just one more thing -- my Icey's mane and tail are white! In spite of all that, thanks to this product I can completely comb through both his mane and tail and still have time and energy left over to actually RIDE him. It's like magic! Makes dirt removal so easy, conditions the hair, AND seems to help the hair stay clean longer. I use it about every other time I ride him and it really makes a difference. I use it on my thoroughbred cross as well but not as often because he doesn't roll in the mud/clay..This is worth every penny. A little goes a long way. You owe it to yourself to try this!

The best polisher out there
My horse is a Rocky Mountain horse with long thick hair. She comes in from the field with pieces of twigs, knots or dreadlocks if I go more than a day or so without dealing with her mane. This product line, especially the combo with polisher and conditioner, leaves her mane much more manageable than any other product. I also like how other who touch her mane say that my mares mane is softer than other horses. I don't her mane is intrinsically softer, it is this product line!

GREAT product
My husband's mare has a knack for making dreadlocks in her name. I squeeze some in my hand and run my fingers through her hair. It will last for several weeks before she has managed to start her dread do again. I rub some in her hair, untangle it, then rub it all through her name again. It also makes the yellow parts of her hair much more white. I highly recommend this product. Not sure why the stars are for warmth or sheerness. These are not really a characteristic of this product.

Best on the market
This is absolutely the best detangler on the market and I think I've tried them all. My friend used it on his horse today after not being able to work on his horse's mane for months. Came untangled beautifully.

This stuff is the best!
I'm loving this product. I have 4 horses and I've used it on all of them and it makes their manes and tails so soft and silky, yet doesn't have silicone, etc. It seems to last for at least two weeks, depending on weather, and keeps their hair easy to brush, braid, just manage. I wish it came in gallon jugs.

5 Haflinger Nickers
I love this product for my horse's mane, tail & feathers (Haflinger). It has a pleasant odor, since there is no alcohol. My horse rather likes the smell & does not do weird things with his mouth/nose which mean "too smelly". I use it weekly and it leaves the hair silky; hair stays pretty clean and is so easy to comb. Love it!

love it
This stuff is the best. My horse has a very long mane, and it was totally tangled and knotted up. I put this on and left it for a couple days, the knots slid right out.
