Beautiful box, but i think i should explain why i needed one in the first place. I wear hearing aids, i have two types of charging docking stations, one has a battery bank (with a lid) and the other just plugs in (no lid). I wanted to save the battery bank one because it's the (far) more expensive of the two and you only get so many charges before the battery bank dies all together (and it's wonderful for traveling or camping so really can't have that dying on me) the problem is i have a cat who is infatuated with anything that has my scent on it... guess what hearing aids have?? LOL yeah my scent, in spades and these are 5k in cost so i can't have my cat getting my hearing aids. My solution - get a box. Sounds simple right? Oh no... i had ordered other boxes all of them (3 in total) came broken (one was literally smashed to bits) which means they'd have been too flimsy to have drilled a hole in the back for the USB cord to go through. I almost gave up and then i found THIS box. It's the perfect size, perfect thickness, solid wood that handled getting a hole the size of a dime drilled out the back, the hinges are durable, every single thing about this box worked GREAT for this project - that it is beautiful is just icing on the cake. It looks stunning on my nightstand. No one else would ever know what goes in it and of course Mr. Nosey (cat) can't get in it at all LOL. While i don't have to use the latch on it but if you're looking for one with a solid latch this is of good quality!

This is a beautifully crafted wooden box with intricate engraving and a smooth finish. The mango wood has a rich, natural look, and the craftsmanship is impressive. It’s a perfect size for keepsakes, jewelry, or small valuables, and it feels sturdy and well-made. The only downside is that if you want to add a lock, the hole is quite small. I tried several different locks and couldn’t find one that fit properly, which was a little disappointing. Other than that, it’s a gorgeous and functional box that makes a great gift or personal storage piece.

Was a gift- so nice, better than expected

I got this for a friend for her birthday and she absolutely loved it. She has a mural of a family tree in her house and placed the box on a table near the mural. The box was beautiful and well made.

I got 7 of these boxes for Christmas gifts!!! They are very beautiful and a great value for the price!! They are used to hold personalized, handmade wooded fountain pens that were also a gift!!! I’d definitely recommend this box to anyone!!

Hatte das eigentlich als Geschenk geplant, aber fand's so schick, das die Schatulle jetzt quasi als Sammelbehälter für Schlüssel und anderes im Flur steht - hab's selbst behalten.

It arrived exactly as described. It is attractive and well made. I use it as a God Box but would work for many other things too such as a jewellery box.

A little bit wobbly when opened the lid is to big
