Elastic-Braided, Fairwin Belt - Great Value, and Great service
I have several braided belts. Below you can see both extremes - from $12 to $85-95. Left most pic is of a (75-95$) braided belt on top of a $12 braided belt on the bottom. Center pic shows same belts with higher dollar belt on the top. The less expensive belt has a duller (matte finish) "keeper" and end tab, while the lower cost belt has a more shiny appearance.I purchased the less expensive belt to wear to the woods every morning; I purchased the the more expensive one to wear everywhere else. I take my labs to the woods almost every morning, and they get wet and dirty, which means I get wet and dirty.Having both belts at my disposal, I really don't see that much difference. You can get the more expensive belt in a larger variety of colors, but I'm pretty basic kind of guy, so a choice between brown, black, tan etc. works for me. And I just don't need a wider selection of colors, such as bright yellows, pinks, light blue etc.The company that sells the less expensive belt on Amazon was easy and accommodating to work with on a sizing issue. They truly went above and beyond. If I had it to do over again, I would only purchase the less expensive braided belts from Elastic-Braided, Fairwin. Due to my personal needs (dogs, dirt, water etc), I might purchase two of each belt color that I intended to wear to the woods. One to keep in nice condition for casual dress and one dedicated to trips to the woods. But for the price difference, I could purchase at least six of the less expensive belts for the price of each higher cost belt. There's just not that much difference (only color selection), and at 6 to 1 cost-wise, if one gets ruined by a lab, pull out another one from your spares and keep going.

Not the average Stretch Belt
I have worn stretch belts almost my entire life, and i'm turning 60 soon. Most belts have lots of elastic stretching built into them, and I wear them just fine. I'm a 38 waist and find I order a SMALL in most stretch belts because of all the extra give they have. No complaints with them at all because I'm used to them. I bought this one based on people saying it wore out less quickly and it seems to be a little thicker - wider - stronger and on weekends I carry a gun on my waist and thought it would have less give with the heavy gun hanging there. I was warned to get a size bigger than usual, so I ordered a medium, even though the size chart would say get a large/x large. I was glad I got a size bigger than normal stretch belts. This belt is much tougher and stronger than most. That also means it has much less give in it. The medium just barely fits, but it's perfect for me. I do not prefer a lot of extra belt to deal with because on the other side of my hip I carry a handcuff key and other smaller items. Usually I take the extra belt length and double it back into a belt loop. This one is exactly the size I needed. SO: This belt is stronger and heavier than the average stretch belt on amazon, AND it has much less extra give so make sure to get a least a size larger than you usually get with a stretch belt. As I noted, I usually get a SMALL even though the charts say a LARGE/X LARGE. Too much extra belt for me once I pull it to the stretch tension I prefer. I get a SMALL in the other ones, and got a medium in this one and it's EXACT - no extra to deal with. Perfect for me, but everyone has their own likes. Seems to be a very high quality, but time will tell on that part.

Very Comfortable and Good Looking
I find the Fairwin Enduring Stretch Woven Belt to be quite comfortable. With traditional leather belts with 1 inch spacing on the holes, I would find the belt to either be too tight or too loose, and in the slightly loose adjustment, the buckle would hang down at a sloppy angle. I tried one of the belts with the ratcheting buckle with the expectation that I could get it to exactly the right tension. However, the ratcheting buckles are heavy and thick. Thus, at the comfortable tension, the buckle would droop, and I would have to pull it uncomfortably tight to keep the buckle from drooping. The Fairwin Enduring Stretch Woven Belt with the sheen from the silk is just right for my apparel at my "business casual" office. Between the fine adjustment of sticking the buckle prong through the belt weave anywhere, the elastic stretch, and the normal weight buckle, I can always keep it comfortable and neat.I have a 35" waist. At the time I ordered, I had a choice of 32-34 or 36-38. I first got a 32-34, and it is just barely long enough. Then I got a 36-38; it is a better fit.

More for a Man
Although this belt is advertised as unisex & age (i.e., "Men/Women/Junior”), I would say it was only for a man. It is certainly quite heavy & a bit wide for me, an average size woman. I think it is too heavy for a smaller woman or a junior. I can barely get it through the belt loop on my jeans and certainly not fit the loose end back through a loop after closing it. It is also so heavy & tightly woven that you can barely get any stretch out of it. Very chunky & heavy for women's fashion.
