These are finely made and work great. I wanted a quality tool that wouldn't rust and these fit the bill.You can get less expensive tools, but often you get what you pay for. I wanted quality and these are.

These expensive keys are worth every penny. The quality, the fit in bolt heads, stiffness, etc is unmatched. I've noticed a few reviews stating that smaller sizes break...I think this is a side-effect of their quality: the fit is so good and the tool is stiff, so you can impart A LOT of torque on it...much more than a cheaper equivalent key, which would either twist into a mess or strip the head of the fastener. Something has to give, and either the bolt breaks free or something breaks. My 2¢..These are all together larger than other sets, so it may not fit in the "perfect spot" in your bag that your current allen keys live in. This may also become apparent if you are using the keys in VERY limited spaces - they're a little longer and "girthier" than the usual keys. My other observation is that the colored sleeves are great for visibility and feel in the hand, but when they inevitably get nicked while working it makes it harder to get them back in their case (same dilemma as when a drill bit shaft is burred and (we all!) put it back in upside down!All together an excellent tool set like everything else I've used from Wera. Can pretty much guarantee you won't be disappointed.

I wish I had bought a set of these hex keys 20 years ago - they look great, feel great and work superbly - and at a super price on Amazon. The shaft is longer and heavier than cheaper hex keys. The rounded shaft is more comfortable and easier to twist precisely in your hand. PLEASE NOTE: the hex keys pictured are the less expensive Model 950 (chrome plated, hexagonal shaft), not Model 3950 which is stainless steel with rounded shaft.

I'm an industrial maintenance mechanic. Wera makes a number of high-end products that several of my co-workers use. I've used Wiha allen wrenches for years and thought I'd switch it up. These Wera wrenches are an excellent tool. They're the longest allen I've ever used, which might actually be a con if you're trying to get into tight spaces. But, the length gives plenty of leverage to get tough sockethead bolts out. The ball-end is great at getting a hold on fasteners at a bad angle. My favorite feature is the way they've formed the short end. It grips really, really well. My only complaint is they're so smooth sometimes I have a hard time getting a good grip on them. Wera makes other finishes and wraps for their allens, so that's not a terrible problem if I decide to buy another set. Overall, they're excellent tools. I rely on these every day at work.

So, these Allen keys are expensive and it’s hard to tell why, unless you use them. I happen to use them, every day, many times a day. Bikes are mostly Allen keys and I fix bikes. Literally every wrench but two – from 2mm to 8mm – sees multiple uses every day. The larger sizes interface with hex recesses with firm authority – Hex-Plus is extraordinary. When anyone in the shop sees a stripped hex head, they ask for one of my Wera wrenches and they deliver in most cases with ease. Through much use and many drops, they look none the worse for it, the photos are from today, some 8 months of use since new. On the downside, it feels like the smaller sizes, from 2mm to 4mm feel slightly undersized, and their purchase on fasteners actually feels weaker than normal Allen keys. I would suggest Wera consider increasing the cross section by a few percent. This is why I knocked a star off. The ball-ends are among the best I’ve used, part of me wishes they were Hex-Plus on the long side for easy twiddling, but that’s low torque anyway and the ball-ends are perfectly fine for that, anyway. So, they’re perfectly fine. Now, Wera sells many Hex-Plus Allen keys, what makes these special? They’re stainless. I bought them because they’re exclusive and flashy, not because I needed stainless wrenches. Naturally, I hard polished the face of each key to a mirror. I also used Flitz to brighten the whole wrench. And the stainless finish is so beautiful after that. One day, I tucked a wrench into my knee high compression socks, and then I immediately realized how convenient it was to have my wrenches ready at hand! I can report that, even with 8+ hours in contact with my skin day after day, no surface rust has been observed. Goofy carrying preferences aside, these are tools for tool nerds. The standard color coded Wera Hex-Plus wrenches are great (I’ve used those, too), but these excel in environments where corrosion – or being a bit flash – are of concern. The carrying case’s grip on the wrenches is a little inconsistent: the large sizes are nearly sword-in-stone and the smaller sizes are a little loosey-goosey. Not a big deal.

I was actually looking for Wera imperial keys, when I spotted these... I had to share the love and leave a note.Some background: I'm a field service engineer in biotech. This set is used EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.They operate like new, even after having them for two years, and I've yet to strip a head with them. There are days where I want to smack our manufacturing guys because they get a bit too exuberant with the Loctite, but I'm able to break thread hold on most bolts using the square end without breaking the key.I've gotten so many compliments on how good looking (and functional) the set is... the last site I visited, I was getting teased that these were going to disappear because they're definitely eye catching.It hurts to say, but Bondhaus and Elkind are cheapy in comparison... if you use allen wrenches daily, get these. You won't be disappointed. These are just as good as PB Swiss, and easily half the price.

Very durable, excellent quality in manufacturing, I literally can't complain about this tool. 100% worth the money!

Die Werkzeuge von Wera - die ich bis dato im Bestand habe - sind qualitativ sehr gut. Auch dieser Schlüsselsatz überzeugt von professionellen Materialien und präziser Herstellung. Lieber etwas mehr Geld für gutes Werkzeug ausgeben und lange Freude daran haben. Klare Kaufempfehlung!!!

As stated, quality product that looks good, fair value too.Amazing quality, doubt you would ever need another set after these.
