K4L v2 Adventure DSLR Camera Backpack With 17 in Laptop Compartment And removable Pod

I must confess I wasn't sure if this backpack would work. I was looking for a backpack where I could fit my normal travel gear (including laptop) and a photo bag, but still be able to use only the photo bag once I was at my destination. This product fit the bill perfectly. I previously had a travel backpack and a ThinkTank photo bag very similar to the one included in this product. I have used this product it for the first time in my last trip, and it worked very well; I now can travel with only one volume, and yet have a photo daypack when I'm out and about. The internal space of the backpack is quite large, even with the photo bag in the bottom. The space in the photo bag is enough for me to fit a Sony Alfa 6000 with a 18-200mm lens and a Sony Nex-6 with a 10-18mm lens, plus a bunch of accessories, batteries, filters, etc... The only slight shortcoming is the strap for the photo bag, which is too thin, I ended up replacing with the strap of my old bag. The quality of the materials and construction appears to be good, but only time will really tell whether it can survive the wear and tear of frequent traveling.

I have spent a lot of time trying to find a bag that would work for me. This one went above and beyond my expectations. It has a very high quality build, has pleanty of room, and has a lot of great features. The removable camera bag is fantatic. It is quite apparent that there was a lot of thought put into the design of this bag. I would highly recommend.

I've been trying to find a bag for a while now that would allow me to combine my DSLR bag with my everyday backpack for travel. I travel pretty heavily with personal stuff and most DSLR bags just don't have enough space, or they require you to carry all your personal stuff if you want to take your camera out for the day which you don't always want to do especially for security. This is almost the perfect bag, and just what I was looking for. I still wish there was a little more personal space and that there were some more organizational pockets, especially on the interior, also the top carry handle could be sturdier with more padding - but those complaints are minor compared to what I like. I was able to seamlessly combine the two bags and so far I'm extremely happy.
