10.9" 280mm Fastace Bs-22ar/bda01ar Rear Shock 250 Lb/in

Plain and simple... buy this shock.
This shock is over built (that's a good thing) compared to the OEM Honda XR70 shock. I got a bike to ride with my 8 year old daughter. I'm 6'2 250lbs of course the XR70 is too small for me. I originally made a shock extender to raise the bike. I tried the extender with the OEM shock. HORRIBLE IDEA. The OEM is too flimsy and soft. I barely sat on the bike and i was not on the suspension but on the frame. I know that would certainly crack the frame. The new Fastace shock certainly will NOT lift the bike one bit. Look at the picture of the OEM next to the Fastace. They're both 10.5" from eye center to eye center. With the shock extender it raises the bike a lot! You can buy an extender on Amazon as well. I am fortunate enough to have a cnc machine to make my own. The shock is plenty strong to hold up my use of it I will not be jumping it. That's what I have my big bike for. This bikE will be trail ridden. I feel that even if someone were to use this bike for the track the Fastace will hold up. Like I said, I'm 250lbs and I don't feel like I'm phasing this shock. Buy it here, it's $10-$15 cheaper than anywhere else and it comes in faster. Also if you have the A-style swingarm I would say 250lbs/in is the max you need. DO NOT GET THE 1000LB shocks you see everywhere for $35. The 1000lb shosk WILL be TOO STIFFYou'll waste your money. Fitment wise this shock is a direct replacement if you don't want a lift on the bike. If you want a lift and use an extender you'll probably find the attached pictures helpful. The Fastace really could be OEM fit. I did run into one hitch. I think it is because of the lift application but I am not positive. You'll see a picture of plastic dirt shield. I needed to cut the opening bigger for the new shock. It really is no big deal at all. I say this is an amazing shock for the price and application I'm using it for. I also attached a picture of the same bike. One lowered 1.5" with a XR50 shock and one raised 1.5" with the Fastace and shock extender. Real world dimensions, 1.5" really is a lot.

Can't beat the quality for the price.
Really good shock for the money! I have this same shock on my pitbike, and I weigh about 220lbs. It has performed very well for me for 2 seasons of riding. I just bought this one for my daughters pitbike. I know it will be a little stiff for her, but we've replaced her rear shock 3 times in the last year with lower grade shocks. This will at least allow her to grow into the bike a little longer, and should never give her any issues.

Bottoms out..
Very well built. I put it on a ttr110. I weigh 180lbs and ride very aggressively.. the 250lb coil isn't heavy duty enough, continuously bottoming out.. I'm replacing the coil spring with a 700lb fox coil. Or you could just order the fast ace 1000lb setup. I would recommend this shock for riders under 130lbs that ride aggressively.
