Had watched the movie earlier. And now just finished reading the book. The book is simply unputdownable! A must read.

Well i think it is the best book to read about watergate scandal and to get acquainted with both underground and overground events which led to first and by far only President resignation.

Yes.

I took this on holiday along with three other books. In two weeks I didn't even get to the other two books. This one is so laden with names, facts, new characters and sources that it often meant reading a page and then going back to check who a specific person was or what they had said before.But none of that meant it wasn't thoroughly enjoyable, brilliant (and terrifying).Although heavy going, it is a must for anyone who has the right to vote... this is how politics works! (There's a great Baudrillard quote, which I can not remember verbatim, that the real scandal of Watergate was not that the Nixon administration did this, but that after the Watergate affair, people assumed politics was cleaned up).

Fantastic book about how two relatively inexperienced reporters got their teeth into the biggest political scandal of the era, possibly ever. They stuck to their guns and eventually the whole Nixon regime collapsed. Brilliant, gripping read !!Seriously, read the book before watching the movie - they're both superb, but that's the order... read, then watch.

An absolutely outstanding book that reads like a thriller. Unbelievably what Nixon got up to, and how he was eventually found out. Make sure you read the follow on from this as well, as it's equally good.
