Is this a high quality watercolor paper? No.This paper was purchased to provide practice sheets to junior high kids as they explore watercolor. I would not use this for "real" projects as it has an odd texture, but it is fine for experiments.

I have used watercolor paper for years in my children’s art classes. This is by far the cheapest quality watercolor paper I have used. Pills easily when wet- not a good match for children. Would not recommend.

The watercolor paper works for the technique I purchased it for (it can take a lot of water without curling or tearing), but the length is only 11.75 inches and I would have preferred the full 12 inches.

I thought I'd take a chance that this would be a reasonable cheap watercolor paper for noodling around with. It's not. It has no desirable properties. The pigment sinks in, it pills up, it buckles and warps far too much for the weight, and most baffling of all, it's a very noticeably cool gray color. If your paper isn't white, you probably would prefer that it's at least a warm hue. The best way I can describe this versus a proper cheap watercolor paper like Canson XL, is that this feels like the cheap brown paper towels they use in the school bathroom, whereas proper cheap watercolor paper feels like a good kitchen paper towel.Honestly, it's just not worth using, regardless of price.

For this price I really expected nothing I thought I would use it as drawing paper at best but I had to give it a shot. I actually like this paper it has substance it takes water well it absorbs the color it's easy to work with. It was really a surprise to me but I like it. I've used it almost exclusively since I got it. I might not use it for an art show but for most things it's good. Great value good product quick delivery it's a win win
