You must wear the steel gloves

Good quality, great design without separate cutting parts. Only reservation is you can't cut the last 8 millimetres or so of the vegetable, because to do so the pusher would be hitting the blades. Never had a mandoline before though so maybe this is common to all of them?

The knob on the side keep sticking and the thickness of the slices vary

Clever design allows for all blades to be part of main apparatus, and all three are adjustable. I've just made dauphinois potatoes - very easy to get the right thickness after a couple of tries - and then some excellent potato crisps. Then I julienned some carrots - no problems.Comes with veg holder, gloves and a cleaning brush. The "legs" fold underneath after use and it's easy to clean. Much better than my previous mandolin.The blades are sharp and will cut your fingers if you are careless, but that's not the fault of this slicer - it has to be sharp to work.

It doesn’t slice the last 2cm….and traps the remaining.

Liked everything about the item so easy to use and fantastic for make my own coleslaw.
