We have a grapefruit tree with pretty big fruit. Will the basket hold grapefruit?

Need a model that will pick cherries. The tines are too far apart. Is there another model?

Hi William, We don't have another model. I'm not sure how large your cherries are - the gaps in the tines are ~1 inch. The tines are also bendable so you could push multiple tines together so it would be able to pick cherries smaller than 1 inch. Hope this helps! -Johnny from Eversprout

How does this work? We have an avacodo tree with fruit we can't reach. Does it somehow grab the fruit so we can pull it from the tree?

Hi Sharon, Fruit Picker Instructions: 1) Securely twist the fruit harvester basket onto the threaded tip of the telescopic pole. 2) Guide fruit to be harvested into the wire basket. 3) Line-up the fruit stem in between two of the long prongs and gently pull down. 4) The foam cushion will prevent bruising. The telescopic pole can extend from 5ft to 13ft so it should be able to reach fruit up to 20 ft if you are holding it overhead. How big is the basket? My avocados are 12" long or longer.

Depth is 5". Opening is 5.5" . From bottom to top of hook is 9". I think it will work vor you avocados if you bend the hooks straight up. (soft. very easy). That way, you fit the fruit into the basket and push up and it will break the stem. Basket will fit the avocado silnce it's whide and the side of the hooks is 9" so the fruit will rest until brought down. I think it was actually designed for a bigger fuit like the avocado.

Works Great

We have many fruit trees. Picking the ripe fruit has become a problem as ladders are awkward for us; we are in our seventies. This tool is easy to work with and does a great job.

Prime Picking

Very pleased with my new fruit picker. It is light, manoeuvrable yet robust. The metal basket collected my plums easily without causing any damage to the soft fruit. The telescopic pole extends easily, to any length you need up to 20 feet. Harvesting apples next. Recommend this product if you want trouble free picking season.
