This gel-like Nano tape compensates for variations in surface textures making it useful in situations where 3M Command strips tend to fail. It's weight bearing capacity seems far greater than Command strips too.I've used it to hang picture frames and art objects, attach a power strip to the wall, adhere an Android TV box - and held up the cables - out of sight on the back of TVs, replace one-time use adhesive on earthquake straps when moving a cabinet and in other assorted projects. So far, nothing is budging and I don't believe it will... this sticky stuff has holding power!Almost lost a star for 2 reasons:The manufacturer gives a rating of 2.2 LBS on a smooth surface but doesn't say per how much tape used? Other tapes give guidance like x lbs per 2 square inches of tape in a vertical application which I find helpful.No instruction is given for removal from painted sheetrock walls. It can be done in a way that doesn't leave a residue or marks but if not carefully removed it can also tear off the sheetrock surface, paint and all, right with it!Of course, I had to learn the hard way but that experience actually gave me more confidence in the adherence properties of the tape.There are a number of generic Nano tapes available on Amazon but I've purchased other Teegan/Gaffer Power tapes - they're a reputable company that will stand behind their products.

Doesn’t stick to painted texture drywall,as a matter of fact I tried to put a power strip on my bedroom wall and it fell off and took the painted texture with it! Not happy!

No complaints here. I use this on my dashboard where no other adhesive seems to work. I'll give an update when summer comes and we see some increased heat.......unless the COVID-19 kills me. Then you'll just have to find out on your own.

I have only used this tape to attach a shaving mirror to our Corian® shower wall, and it’s doing the job. I played around with a small piece to see how it releases and re-attaches - It does, and without leaving any noticeable residue. We want to try it to attach things to our camper walls, since we’ve had poor luck with the Command Adhesive strips on those surfaces. We have used other Tegan/Gaffer power tapes in the past and have been happy with them, which is why we decided to try this Nano Tape.

a little goes a LOOOOOOOOng way and hold just about anything. I had vandals tear down my metal signs on my black wrought-iron electronic gate. We temporarily taped these dirty metal to dirty metal and they have held through rain, power-washing, 108 degree heat, gale force winds and California's blinding/baking sun! Amazing stuff. At the same time I have used this to hold things to my desktop so the cat won't knock them off and it is a cinch to reposition them at will by just lifting up. I can remove it and it leaves no residue. Unfortunately working with little pieces it tends to ball up and I can't flatten it out again..i.e. it sticks to itself too well. I confess to not trying to rinse it into a softened position. I will try and let you know.
