ACDelcoProfessional D465 Ignition Distributor Rotor

I have started buying ACDelco parts for my GMC all the time. The previous rotor and cap just lasted 2 years. The truck is 20 years old and the original lasted quite a few years. I bought a replacement from a well known part store with a lifetime warranty. They have replaced it free more than once but just lasting 2 years made me decide to go with original equipment. By the way if you own something with a 4.3 from around 2000 and you get up on a wet morning and it won't start there is a good chance it is the cap and rotor. I have seen it several times now.

Great value! My van would not start on days it was raining or when the humidity was extremely high. I had a distributor cap that came from a popular parts store that was only 15,000 miles old and didn’t look worn. However, I read on the Internet and instance where a person had a similar problem, they replaced the distributor cap with an AC Delco and it corrected the problem. This was the case for me as well!

If you are driving a GM car/truck and you are looking to do your own repairs - just buy ACDelco parts - the little extra you pay over knock-off parts is worth it. ACDelco parts just simply do the job they were intended for, and they last longer than any other replacement part from brand x.

I've had problems with aftermarket caps and rotors of this style. They will only work for a couple of months and then I'll start having missfire issues. So I will now only use AC Delco. That said, the rotor I received came in pieces. The brass contact strip and the plastic hold down part were loose in the box. Weird. It was replaced quickly and with no fuss other than the loss of time and having to return it. Nobody is perfect. How a company handles the situation when things happen is the important thing and this was handled nicely.

nothing to dislike

Installed along with a new ACdelco Cap. Made an difference with the first start up and the truck feels smoother above 3000rpm. A cheap sub $100 tune up.

absolutely garbage!!! Burned hole right through cap! That was after only 300km. “”states comes in ACDelco box from different suppliers”” Cost me 300$ for a tow 450$ for rental car and 400$ for repair. Never contacted company. Why? Not getting any of my money back. I sure as hell don’t want another one. WAS a BIG ACDelco fan NO MORE!!! Bought Borg Warner via LORDCO. Oh and then getting a ride to town (no cell service)off the mountain pass with Covid happening made the experience last just that much more pleasant!!!GETTING REALLY TIRED OF CHINESE GARBAGE !!!
